Great car

Way back in the mid seventies I had a Subaru. It was a good dependable vehicle but small. I moved on to other brands. Last year I was researching cars that would fit in my limited space garage. Imagine my surprise to find the Subaru Forrester two inches shorter than my Chevy Equinox but with a larger cargo area. The two inches must come from the engine compartment because both front and back seats are comfortable to ride in. Gas mileage is better and it handles well at freeway speeds and on surface streets. My Equinox’s 4 cylinder engine required the highest grade of gasoline. Subaru uses regular unleaded.

Salesman was so easy to work with and no pressure.

Subaru Forester is the best vehicle, IMO, and I spent a few hours comparing before deciding.

My wife's new love.

My wife thinks this vehicle is perfect. She loves eerything about it. I am an old Subaru suppoter, I still have the 2000 Firester that I bouht new with over 200,000 miles on it and not one problem.

Goes almost anywhere.

Just drove 2000 miles on rough, muddy, rocky, sandy "roads" in southeastern Utah using X-mode when needed and it worked! Was skeptical after owning a 2001 5 speed manual for years. This may do the job. I resupply and transport long distance trail hikers and trail crews.
