10 Years with a 2007 Toyota Prius
I bought this car with 17,000 miles on it. Now, after 10 years and 188,800+ miles on the odometer, with only routine maintenance, and never a gas fill-up over $29.00, the car has proven to be very reliable and economical, though luckily, the main battery failed just inside the warranty period, thank you. This car has been a delight to drive. One issue,
though, is the weakness of the low placed bumper (for the sake of economy) when pulling up to a curb. Also this version of the Prius definitely won't bury you in the seat on takeoff, but it is highly maneuverable in tight spaces, and once underway, it easily keeps up with traffic. All in all, this car was well worth the cost.
