Love this car, only negative is road noise (2005) Honda Pilot

I purchased this 2005 Honda Pilot new and have almost 200,000 miles on it and hope to go for at least another year. It has a very nice ride and still runs excellently!

2005 Honda pilot

I’ve had my Honda pilot for nine years now. It is built very well. I have owned Ford and Chevy‘s for many many years. For an SUV style vehicle this is a must for me. I have recommended Honda pilot too many people. Everyone I have recommended This vehicle to they had purchased the Honda pilot. Everyone has had great reviews. They all want to go back to other vehicles.

Work Horse, Reliable Vehicle

I LOVE my Honda Pilot!!! Living in the Pacific Northwest country requires vehicles that can handle tough gravel, bumpy roads, long distance drives and rugged terrain. Our vehicles must alsos be able to handle the unpredictable winter weather such as heavy rains, floods, snow, ice and our notorious unpaved roads. This Honda handles them all! I am not afraid to go out if the weather is bad, as my Honda is capable of enduring it AND all of it's faculties are operational even after 140K! Ac and heat work great, all electrical interior facets work and the engine purrs. Normal maintenance required for longevity! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my Honda Pilot!

2005 Honda Pilot

This is a really good vehicle. The engine has been strong as long as we have owned it. Small minor things we have done to this, I would suggest to use really good expensive gas, which will save your cate converter which this is notorious for, or check it prior to buying.

Great Car

My 13 y/o Pilot has 150K miles and is still runnin like a champ! It's never needed any major repairs. Best car I've ever owned! I'm tempted to take the engine out and put it in a new body!! It's that much a dependable work horse! Highly recommend!

Looking for a second Pilot for a relative, perhaps a certified, used vehicle. Have already started my search. Will definitely take the time until the right one comes along even if it takes a year to find.

Old dependable

The Honda Pilot has worked beautifully for our family for almost 13 years now and I have no plan of getting rid of it any time soon. The room in the back seat for the kids of any age is wonderful. The third row seat is great for kids but not adults because of the way of accessing and leg room.

I own a 2005 Honda Pilot that has over 200,000 mile and is still a joy to drive. This vehicle has been all over the United State, pulled trailers, used as a camper, and hauled everything you ca imagine, Like all of our other Hondas it has preformed above our exceptions.

2005 Honda Pilot

As the 2nd owner of my 2005 Honda Pilot I continue to be very satisfied with its performance and longevity- no problems whatsoever to date! I especially like the option of the third row seating allowing up to 3 additional passengers for a total of 7 passengers as needed. It is a roomy and safe ride for all!

Older is better

I have a second hand 2005 Pilot which fits my needs perfectly. Lots of space for hauling art supplies for sales and lots of seating for events. I do not like the changes made in the newer models, they just aren't as appealing. The storage space in the rear under the floor really needed a stronger door. The plastic has split due to the weight of groceries sitting on it (if it's going to be in the floor, it needs to hold a reasonable load). The gas mileage is still phenomenal even after 295,000 + miles.

Still going

I have a 2005 and I love it. I have over 171,000 miles and no plans to get rid of it. The new ones look more like a minivan. Not interested.

I don't know what this means

My 2005 Honda Pilot is the best vehicle we have ever owned. Summer or winter. With good tires it is the best car I have ever driven in snow. It has good storage space with the retractable seat backs which makes it family or project friendly. I can't say enough about my Honda Pilot.
