Love my car

I did a lot of research before I bought this car. I needed space and great gas mileage. I test drove the car twice and doubled checked all the features before buying. Four years later and I still it. I have taken my car to Pennsylvania, Washington, D.C., Maryland, Viriginia, Alabama, Mississippi, and Tennessee and it still drives great. No major problems and I've had it regularly maintained.

Compact yet spacious, just look out for that blind spot. They've improved the viability from the '09, they're getting there in a good way. Comfortable car, good for trips. Easy maininence, home or professional.

Reliable

Bought basic model worth the price. Knew it wasn’t a luxury car when I bought it Hard ride over rough terrain.A little too low to the ground for me.Would buy another Hyundai in the future but probably would get a small SUV.

Love my car

My Accent is awesome! I purchased the basic model but it has everything I need. Great gas mileage, an easy Service schedule, and station wagon- like seats for transporting " stuff". I'd say there are two things that need improvement: road noise and seat comfort. Great car Xive enjoyed driving it.

Used car Review for my 2014 Accent.

I traded in my old 2002 Hyundai Accent for this 2014 Hatchback model. Excellent gas mileage on long trips. Like the acceleration is quick and responsive. Could be another 4 feet longer for auto camping. As for now it's a little cramped but fine for myself. Two people would be definitely cramped. Steering ok but again Hyundai falls short on turning ratio that needs improving.Great consel on interior. Would like to see seats fold down flat for more room.A great car for around town. Needs to be longer and seats need to fold down like the Honda CRV Models and Rogue Nissan. Great for small parking is a huge plus too.

Accent car quality

No major mechanical issue nor axles damages up to now and slight over 67k mileage on it.The gas mileage is good when the fuel economy button is on.Overall is above average. The only thing is automatic shift is hard when shift into 3,2 and 1 speed.

First new car I purchased for myaelf and it fits me perfectly. Great on gas and mileage is good. No real major issues since I've purchased my vehicle. Would definitely go back to purchase another Hyundai.

Accent

Enjoy driving a smaller car with plenty of cabin space 4. Packing with the hatchback gives plenty of room. Gas mileage could be better or larger gas tank. Fabric is terrible due to spotting when wet! Was sad to learn hatchback has been discontinued!

Great Get-Up and Go when needed

Great vehicle for me - has power when needed; however, front end is a bit low for heavily-rained streets and water more than an inch or two tries to drag the undercarriage backward; otherwise, it's terrific and a terrific buy!

The car is good looking, gas mileage is great (I do a lot of driving), I am short and the design allows me good view of rear window. I have had some mechanical issues, but Hyundai resolved for me, which I am extremely grateful for.

Great economical car

My only complaint is that the front bumper is too low and catches on parking bumps, which then caused the right fender snaps to break loose. Only way to fix it is to replace the whole side fender.

Great bargain vehicle

The Hyundai accent hatch does most of the things that matters well. It is good overall on gas ,ton of space an engine that over achieve's . The only thing wrong is it lacks many options of many modern vehicles but it does have Bluetooth and some a sport tuned suspension and nice wheels as options

Operation of car.

I don't like the pick up this car. I know that it is only a 4 cylinder. But you have to really put your foot on the gas. Unless if there is something I can do to improve. That information will be greatly appreciated. Please advise!!!

Great turning radius

I have to say, I bought car because of color. But underlying that turning point for me was the great turning radius, the easy handling on highway and back roads and that it was small. Two complaints are that the door windows are a little high, or seats too low. Also, side rear windows are small and make it difficult to see vehicles coming up behind me in next lane when I need to change lanes. I do miss having a thermometer in the car telling me how hot or cold it is but, it's not essential. This car beat out a Fiat for me when I was shopping. I like the confort of the ride. I am a low mileage driver and it might not be the same for someone who drives more than 3000 miles per year.

Great little car

I have had the car for 4 years with no problems of any kind. I am amazed at the quality of the paint- after 4 years it is still like new.I would have liked to have 16" tires so that I had a little more road clearance but I purposely purchased a no frills model.

Very happy

Purchased this car as a second car for our family. Very pleased with its performance and with its ride. Mileage is good too. The only thing I could suggest is the addition of a real spare tire! But this was resolved by a local tire dealer.

Great budget car.

Reliable. The accent line lasts. Safe, good gas mileage, a real trooper of a car. The blindspots are rather large though. The mirrors are starting to evolve with the accent line to help fix that issue though. Honestly, I will gladly be driving this car for years to come.
