Engine breaks in hard

Its a overall really nice vechelle seats ect i recommend seems like their are some issues right from the gate the car is hard to start up sometimes and the engine feels like its gonna stale out no power to it not sure its the fuel line or heads.

Phone connectivity

There is no outgoing bluetooth connection with phone. You have to type the number in on a keyboard it's like texting and driving. It's a real safety concern. You have to change media input everytime you start the vehicle.

Ok car

The car is good for commuting from point A to point B. Not recommended for families. Wish there were more leg room in back seat and better looking front. Gas mileage is good, but not that great in accelerated speeds.

Overall good

Overall the car is good if you want to save money on gas. For a cheaper car the style is nice as well. I like the interior of the car as well that is what sold me. I do not recommend driving this car when it is windy out. Its light so it blows around easily. The basic version sound system isn't very good for bass and the radio is horrible. I do like the car for a basic car but I will be upgrading to a better car after a year.

Interior Design for seats

I work for Hertz Car Rental and drive Accents on occasion.. To me the only complaint I have is the seats sit much lower in the 2018 than in previous years and it's so hard to get in and out if you are a little older.

IT COULD BE BETTER

unhappy with air conditioning sysytem because it stopped working with only 1,000 miles on odometer. unhappy with dome light because i can't adjust it so that it automatically shuts off when i get out of the vehicle and close the door.

Guess I not research as good as I thought I did or I did and I just got the bad apple out of the bunch

Wish I would have known then what I know now about this car I would have looked for something much different. For the price of this 2018 with now 15,000 miles on it I am already having issues. I have a 2016 sonata with over 60,000 miles and have not had any issues smaller car should still have the same built quality?

LOSE MONEY

GOOD CAR BUT THE PRICE IS TO HIGH. WHEN I BOUGHT THE CAR THE SAME DAY THE VALUE OF THE CAR DROPPED $8000.00 . THE COST OF THE CAR WAS $21,000. THE PRICE LEFT ON THE CAR . I GOT 10,000. FROM THE BALENCE LET ON THE HUNDUI. I NOW HAVE A CHEVY SILVERADO CLUB CAB. THATS BEAUTIFUL.

Great car but the FCA doesn't work.

This is my 3rd Accent. I chose the 2018 Limited for the FVA feature. But, it has never worked and I get a different story from every dealer I take it to for service. Besides the faulty FCA, The volume control on the steering wheel broke along with a poor quality on the steering wheel. I have filed a complaint with Hyundai USA.

Glitches out

I have problems with the radio and it starting sometimes and when I go there for them to look at it "nothing is wrong" so I moved on. Would like not to have anymore problems but probably not gonna happen.

Hyundai Accent is a reliable car and fun to drive but if you are looking for durability and performance it is not the car for you. Gas saver for sure. But overall it's ok if you're looking for price and drivability.

Very small vehicle and windshield reservoir breaks .and is not equipped for person that have very long or small legs i would not recommend people to purchase this vehicle because some parts appear to be made cheaply

A bit weary

Two days after purchasing the car would not start. Had to have my battery jumped. Tech that came out to assist with my car was creepy and made me feel extremely uncomfortable and also tried charging me for a service that was free. When I informed him I have a 5 year warranty on my car and should not come out of pocket for my battery to be jumped he then demanded a tip and would not move his tow truck from behind my car until I gave him one. Reported this incident to Hyundai and was told I would receive a follow up call from a manager. Its been a month and I still have not received that follow up call. About 3 weeks after the first incident my car would start again...Had the battery jumped and realized when I got home my head lights would not turn off. Contacted Hyundai to see if they could send a tech out to assist since the lights remaining on was due to the battery being jumped. Was told their techs are not mechanics and couldn't help even though they caused the issue. Couldnt take it to the dealership because they were closed, so I had to allow the battery to die since the lights would not turn off. Took it to the dealership the following day and was told it was due to the factory security alarm not being disabled before the car was sold to me. This happened 3 days ago. Overall my experience so far has not been good and I have been greatly inconvenience and have missed work due to this new car being unreliable. The whole point of purchasing a brand new car is for reliability. I do not feel like a valued customer at all and my brand new car has given me more issues than my 15 year old Toyota I replaced. You'd think making a large purchase such as this you'd receive a bit better customer service.

The Accebt not what it used to be

I had a 1999 Elantra (good car), I had a 2006 Accent (good car), I had a 2017 Accent (good car), I bought a 2018 Accent (poor quality vehicle). There are just a lot of little things wrong with my new car. Sideview mirror fell off (not covered under the warranty), car rolls back when you take the brake off, cruise control switch does not work, radio has poor reception for local stations, etc.

Rain Water Leaks and poor drainage

Rain Water Leaking Inside doors, poor water drainage and possible rusted out doors. - Water does not completely drain out door drains until doors are opened. --- Dealer and Hyundai have refused to repair problem leaving me with an new car at high risk of rust.

Poor performance

As mentioned in the survey, the car SLOWS DOWN when I try to accelerate to merge into the interstate. As I’m sure you know the speed on the interstate is faster than the speed on the on ramp and one must accelerate to avoid being hit by other vehicles. Without the ability to incease my speed I am putting myself in great danger.

New car

Horrible. After having the car less than 2 weeks the brakes went out. They could not figure out what was wrong, and after talking with Corporate they replaced the master cylinder even though they don’t know that’s the problem. Now they are unwilling to do anything about it and want me to drive a potentially dangerous car

Horrible vehicle

Never again will I purchase another Accent. I will stick to the sonata next time. This was literally the worst purchase I ever made in my life time of living. The transmission sucks, engine is weak, there’s no center-console.
