Vickies car

We love the car. I am used to having a CD. player and have lots of CDs I cant play now?? it's great for changing from regular to straight drive, climbs hills wonderfully. The lights are not very bright for me or show out wide.????????

Good mileage, reliable, bad radio.

Good for basic transportation. Poor AM radio system. Unable to repair? Good mileage. A bit noisy cabin ride. Need to hire techs or vendor for radio repair or replacement. Basic, affordable vehicle.

We purchased the car because we the most bang for what we were willing to spend. The accent was not our 1st choice. But so far we have enjoyed the car with exception of the mildew smell. Our purchase experience and service of the vehicle have been favorable. This is not my first Hyundai.

overall happy remains to be seen about dependability

has Hyundai improved the gdi engine carbon buildup issue on intake valves on their newer cars I noticed that Hyundai still uses gdi engines on a lot of makes and models and hope that somehow Hyundai gdi engines have improved their carbon issues in the newer gdi engines

Great commuter car!

Overall a fantastic car for the money, just a few minor issues and inconveniences, such as the paint chipping and the splash guard breaking off. I bought this car mainly to drive back and forth to work and it's services purpose really well. Also, I bought the manual transmission version and I will say that the shifter feels really awesome.

Hyundai won me over again with reliability, options and their 10 year/100,000 mile warranty! However, there are design flaws...

I've owned my car since January 30, 2020 and put over 2,000 miles on it. During this time, nothing has gone wrong with the Accent mechanically and I haven't received any service recall notices like you do from the Ford Motor Company. It's an absolute pleasure to drive, gets great gas mileage, is quite peppy for a car with a 1.6L engine and is roomier than my 2006 Hyundai Elantra was. I also feel like I got more options for my money versus when my old Elantra was purchased 15 years ago. However, there are some design flaws which should have been addressed at the factory. The front windshield fogs up whenever the A/C is turned off after being on for a long period of time. The highbeam switch interferes with the turn signals causing them to go on accidentally. I never had this problem with my Elantra when I owned it. Aside from those two issues, I have no complaints.

Hyundai is my choice

Hyundai is the only car I've ever driven. They are safe, reliable and have great gas mileage. My last Hyundai Accent I bought brand new in 2003 and lasted 16 years before I bought another one brand new.

Im glad I bought this car

Its not the car for everyone, but its the car for me. I think most people would be happy with it. It is not the best on acceleration, but Im not a racer-so its good for me. I feel safe in it, and It has been comfortable for long trips as well as driving around town.

Good

Its been a good car with good gas mileage. The only issues is sometimes pulls to the left some times severely issue seems to get better with time. and the toggles on the steering wheel all broke right away.

Mileage was the key draw . I was needing to purchase a car ASAP, and did not want a over the top car payment. GM at the time was not offering much as a discount. This was a "I settled" car. I will see how this car pans .

For the price it’s OK…… But it lacks pizzazz…… It looks like every other sedan on the market in that price range…… Again very disappointed in the vibration compared to my 2014 Hyundai accent . I recommended my 2014 Hyundai…… I would hesitate to recommend this accent.

I am very disappointed in the braking system - for a new vehicle, I should be able to stop quickly on a dry surface going 40 miles per hour, so I have been disappointed in the lack of quality on the brakes. Otherwise, I really like the car.

Could be better

Slow, needs more interior options, shakes when started, noisy, tires ugly, needs more interior accessories, speaker quality sucks, seat adjustments could be better, needs lumbar support, seats uncomfortable. Handles curves well. Beautiful color and body style.

Good starting vehicle

If your just starting out this would be a good car. It's too light to go on freeways. Very hard to control when passing semi or when it's windy. Very little play in steering wheel. Car runs very quiet. No blue tooth voice recognition or CD player.

Good car for the city

Fun car to drive. Economic. Spacious. Should have a smaller cost to make it more competitive. I had other models from Hyundai and one thing that I believe is very good in all models is the driver seat. I have problems but it is no problem to drive for more than 3 hours.
