Equus

Without a doubt the most comfortable luxury vehicle I've ever owned and I've owned them all. Navigation is limited due to technology being updated. The dealership that I originally purchased a car from lack the sophistication and expertise to deliver a luxury car .

Beautiful car

We’ve had our 2014 Equus for almost a year now, bought it presented with 80k miles. It’s been a gem! Plenty of miles left on this luxury car! Comfortable ride, eye catching and underrated! Love my Equus!

Excellent

The Equus is a luxury car and gives you a very smooth driving experience. I’m very disappointed that it was discontinued. I was having some work done on my house and they needed me to move the car out of the garage. I gave the worker my key card and told him to back it out, because I was on the phone. When he brought the key card back, he said, “if you decide to sell that car, I want first dibs. It’s really a great car.”

2014 EQUUS

I was a Lexus owner for over 20 years driving their large sedan . Because of a poorly trained salesperson I declined the 2014 Lexus 460 and bought the top of the line 2014 EQUUS. I assure you the EQUUS is an equal car in looks and performance and I saved myself $15,000! I love this car and I love the warranty that comes with it. Lexus did give better customer service but I bought my car at a dealership that was in financial trouble the next year after my purchase. That is my only negative and it has nothing to do with the quality of this car.

Very fine well engineered automobile

Purchased the car with 2500 miles and have named it my" Bentley "as I truly love the way the car drives, looks and performs. Also own a MB E 550 cabriolet and while it is a fine car its build quality of fit and finish is not as good as the Equus. The Equus has a far superior paint job. I am very impressed with the V8 engine which runs just fine on regular gas and the quiet ride with a superb sound system. Only issue with the Equus has been with a vent knob and has been replaced by Hyundai. Will be replacing the original Continental tires soon and will probably opt for Michelin tires which will give it even a better ride and handling. Great car and recommend to friends and neighbors.

One of the best car I ever owned

This vehicle is loaded with lots of extras. Body style is by far the best looking luxury car on the road. I get more complements on this vehicle because most people don't have a clue as to what kind of car it is. Great job on the. EQQUS WISH YOU STILL CONTINUE MAKING THEM.

Earnhardt Hyundai not only returned my car to me repaired but clean and detailed, very impressed .

As I stated before, my car was returned to me repaired & clean, as a matter of fact, it looked better when I picked it up than it did when I brought it in for service. Even though it took several weeks to complete the repair on my car, I was kept up to date on where they were in the repair process. Earnhardt also provided shuttle service for me to come pick up my car. Thank Earnhardt. Keep up the great work.

Extreme Luxury that’s afford

This car rides like you are floating on air , yet handles extremely well . Put into sport mode for tricky maneuvers, such as an on ramp to an congested highway and this car will accelerate like a Porsche 911. The comfort is extreme. The back seats are limousine class with reclining seats heated and cooled seats and electric headrests as well as 2 screens for viewing media and an elaborate control system for media and seats and nav ( all from the back). The sound system is the best I have ever heard in any car period. I also have an s-class (albeit not the most current version) and the Equus remains my favorite. Highly recommend and can be had for about 1/2 the price of a similarly equipped s class. Note that the Equus has been renamed as the G-90

Equus review

Best car I've owned. Purchased this car, new, 4/2014 after driving Audi for 30 years; the last 3 Audi's were the A-8L. Purchased first one in 1996. The Equus was equal in driving, comfort, size, safety and efficiency. The big trunk was a selling point. Unfortunetly, the Equus is no longer made; therefore i'll have decisions to make on next car (not a SUV)

Complete Satisfaction

I purcahased my first new car in 1967, a Galaxy 500 Ford and have owned 66 more new cars since then the majority of which were from the Ford family of Automobiles except for two Oldsmobiles,two Buicks,and three Cadillacs, and Mercedes Benz S class. The Equus I now own is by far the best automobile I have ever driven,and with 222,000 miles it is still tight and quiet with no issues of any description.

As a former Mercedes owner I can say without equivocation that my Eqquis is a more enjoyable ride. The technology is advanced. Features like the heads-up display help make driving safer. Seats are most comfortable, too.

Ownership experience.

Excellent vehicle in my opinion. 34,000 miles with very few problems. Dealers in Florida and Maryland have been very responsive to questions. I would purchase again when the time comes if they were still manufactured.

Best car ever.

I've owned most European, Asian and American luxury cars. The Equus is the best by light years. Whoever decided to discontinue this car should be shot (figuratively), then propped up and shot again. I intend to keep and drive my Equus until the wheels fall off, or at least several years. The Genesis is a great car for young professionals. The Equus is the one they'll want when comfort, safety and understated beauty are at the top of the list.

POOR QUALITY CONTROL ISSUES

Poor quality control in the area of electronics and upholstery. At 48000 miles, one of the tail light units had condensed water inside of it causing the electronics to fail. Cruise control would sporadically disengaged and when engaged, would continue to accelerate until stopped manually. Brakes would self apply abruptly when being passed on adjacent lanes. Cost of this repair $1800. Engine power cuts off at highway crossing speed. Dashboard cover is peeling off because of the Florida hear. Cost for repair $4000. Issues brought forth to Hyundai h headquarters. Awaiting response...
