Beautiful car

First time owning a Hyundai, and although I love everything about my Genesis, it I knew about the Equus when I bought it, I would have bought the top of the line Equus. I'm a big man, always need extra room...lol. I do really like the Genesis. Ride, comfort, luxury features, speed of V8, etc. Sold on Hyundai for sure, they make a great car.

I love my car. It has a smooth ride. It handles perfect for me. The size is just right. The style is beautiful. The colors are awesome. You don't see the colors of my car often. The interior is brown with dark beige /gold seats. I love it. I also like the screen that comes up covering the back window.

Genesis - a car for the ages

I've been a Genesis fan since first driving my 2009 Genesis in August 2008. I now have put 150,000 miles on the car with only a minor electrical failure (fuel pump relay) just this past week. Everyone who has ever gone for a ride with me comments how awesome the ride, comfort and quietness of the car is. It's the best car I've ever owned and look forward to my next one. Great car, great value, comfort, performance, luxury and sportiness all wrapped in one car. Awesome!

Would buy another one.

I bought a 2009 Genesis, in 2010. Nothing has gone wrong with it other than a recall.....which was fixed with no problem. Totally dependable car. I would buy another when it's time. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

best car ever

It is unique, reliable with timeless design. People do not believe it is a Hyundai and 10 years old. It has the genesis wings displayed, not the flying H or whatever that is. And it uses regular fuel.

2009 Genesis

This has been an excellent car. I Tried to buy a second Genesis brand new this past summer but when I emailed the Genesis concierge to get a new Genesis I was told it was not available in my market area. That is the stupidest thing I have ever heard of. They deserve to go out of business ! I went to my local Lexus dealer and bought an LS460.

A wonderful vehicle! 10 years of smiles and worry/hassle free driving!

I tried to buy another one, but the 2019's are not available. I wasn't about to pay MSRP, or even close for a year old vehicle driving off the lot. I gave the dealers TrueCar pricing and they would not meet it. A Sale is always better than NO Sale! My 2009 Genesis 5.0 was a beautiful well-built vehicle as I am sure the newer ones are. As close to a perfect car as I have owned. Previous Lexus, Mercedes, BMW, and Infiniti. Sadly, I am not in a new Genesis...but I valiantly tried. Infiniti got my business!

Genesis's "The Best"

Simply said, this is the best car I've ever owned in my 46 years of car ownership. High performance and low maintenance. It has the style of a luxury automobile and the pick up of a sports car. You get the best of both worlds.

Exceptional Quality Vehicle

I’ve owned this vehicle since it rolled out in 09 and have been completely impressed with its quality, reliability and stylish look. I now have almost 175k miles on it and have not had any major problems. Tires, oil, brakes, and routine maintenance, is all that has been required. I have been disappointed in the fog light bulbs which don’t seem to last much longer that a few months, but beyond that, this car continues to impress.

Best car I have ever owned!

I bought my car in October 2009. Since that time I have never had a problem with it. I take it to Patterson for oil changes and that's about it. I have almost 99,000 miles on the car. I have thought about buying a new Genesis, but I can't bring myself to part with the current Genesis.

A Classy and reliable vehicle.

The vehicle has a classy styling, it's dependable and reliable. Haven't had any major issues with the vehicle except that the interior shifting mechanism went up and should have been covered under warranty, but the warranty had expired. Since then, I have not had any other major problems and I enjoy driving my 2009 Genesis.

2009 Genesis - OUTSTANDING

This car is 10 years old and still delivers luxury and quality. The maintenance on it has been minimal and the interior has held up beautifully. I still love my Genesis. Cant wait to get another one!

Luxury ride at an affordable price

I’ve had my 09 Genesis since 2012. It’s spacious, and extremely comfortable. Sound system is phenomenal. As with most rear wheel drive cars, it doesn’t do well in the snow. I knew that ahead of time, so for me, that’s not an issue.

Rick's 2009 Genesis

Even though my car is 10 years old it has provided me with exceptional service and is a great vehicle. It has been well maintained and rides and performs incredibly. Everything in my car works fine...even down to the heated seats. It is the first generation and I'm proud of my "Genesis" experience.

Best Car I've Ever Owned

After 10 years of ownership, this is the Only car I would go back and buy again..... I've owned far pricier vehicles, but I would put my Genesis up against any of them, regardless of the price. In 10 years, the only problem I've ever experienced with my car is the tires have worn out because of my extensive driving... In other words, I've had my best "car experience" with this Genesis and I'm a HUGE fan!

2009 first year model

have loved this car and since it has low miles, am in no hurry to give it up. Luxury at a bargain. Nice people at the service dept. I would consider another Genesis, but while a value, the pricing may be rising above what I wish to pay.

Love driving my 2009 Genesis brought it certified pre-owned in 2015, today it is great performance. A little bumpy at times, hard to keep alignment. A few cosmetic issue,Exterior emblem peeled, factory tint bubble front windows.Overall excellent car for my driving need

Almost 130,000 miles

Absolutely no major problems, and still rides like new. A lot of the times I forget to shut the car off because the engine is still so quiet I forget to shut the car off. I hope my next car with Hyundai is just as great as this one.
