Durable and Luxurious

I've owed my Genesis since Dec. 2013. It was a lease vehicle before I bought it. I purchased the 4.6, eight cylinder model. It has plenty of power and speed. Enough to surprise most 5 and 7 series BMW and big block ford and chevy owners. I also enjoy the gas mileage which averages around 22.5 miles per gallon in mixed city and highway driving. On highway at 75 miles an hour you can average about 28.5 miles per gallon. It is loaded with luxury features. I like the voice operated commands best. You can just drive and talk to the car and tell it to turn on radio, call a phone number, or change the radio channel, etc. On the downside, the car is very tightly sprung. It kind of hops over bump in the road. However, it is very sure footed when driving at highway speed. I just wish Hyundai was selling a all wheel drive model when I purchased. I would have bought one.

Love the car HATE the dealers

The car is awesome good looks solid performance for the money and in my 3 years of ownership she has never left me on the side of the road. The sound system is great and she really moves with the V8. A great luxury car for the price. The dealer experience however is FAR from luxury or even good. These rides are rather rare so the training and product knowledge is at least in my reagion pretty bad. Hyundai has engineers that are experts in the cars that travel to dealers to help them work on them. Plus Hyundai dealers are not the same as a Lexus or BMW or even Cadillac dealer the customer experience leaves much to be desired. The car however is freaking great!

This vehicle has alot of power and super comfortable interior. Love the stereo sytem and smooth ride...not a great car for winter months but with a set of all weather tires snow roads are manageable.

A pleasant and quiet drive. Luxurious feel and appearance. The V6 delivers up to 33 mpg highway at 65 mph on cruise control. Love the rear window sunshade.

Quick quip of my Genesis

Love the fact that my car is often assumed to be a very high end luxury vehicle. The ride is very comfortable and quiet. Gas mileage is pretty good. I enjoy the consistent friendliness of all employees at the dealership.

2010 Genesis 4.6

I love the look of this vehicle and thought it was a very good value at the time of purchase (previously owned) from the Coastal Hyundai dealership in 2011. I actually prefer this styling over the redesign which took place a couple years later. Our 4.6 (8-cylinder) model has plenty of horsepower (379) and fits four large (6', 200+ lbs.) adult males comfortably. It has every option available at the time and all worked well, except for the navigation system which was tedious and (in my opinion) has become outdated in favor of the simpler navigation app on smart phones. I consider this car to be a quality luxury sedan which was sold for a reasonable price - much like the Infiniti line back in the 1990's. Market forces being what they are, I suspect the selling prices have risen beyond my affordability due to increased reputation and demand.

When purchased new in 2010, this car was the ultimate!! this was a demo that all options on it. It still is a great car, but doesn't have all the new options available today. I wish I had all the new options in this 2010! I won't give up this car until I wear it out!

Need help

My # is 630-456-0079 call me , because my story is too long to write.I like the car except when I had it serviced at Tamiama Hyundai they screwed it up so badly that I don't know if I will be able to drive it again or what Hyundai wants me to do so that I can get my car back in working condition.
