I love my genesis but..........

I love this car but I am disappointed in the clearance of the the front end. Because it cannot clear a standard curb I have already done $1,100.00 worth of damage to the body pulling into a parking space at a highway rest stop

2016 AWD GENESIS

I choose this car over the Buick LaCrosse and the Lexus ES 350. In comparison of features, ride, value, and manufacture's warranty the Genesis provide me what I wanted.

2016 Hyundai Genesis 3.8

This car has an irritating whining sound while decelerating (see my comments in the CONS section.) However, It is a comfortable and fun to drive vehicle, holds the road nicely with well placed controls. Hyundai needs to address this whining noise problem in order to maintain a high customer satisfaction rating.

2016 Genesis 3.8 Seadan Review

Nice car. Real fuel mileage about as expected. Real MPG consistently 1.0 to 1.5 MPG below indicated MPG on dash display. Real MPG is 24.4 MPG over 10,680 recorded miles... See web link at Fuelly.com http://www.fuelly.com/car/hyundai/genesis/2016/hackercrft/451696 Car looks really great. Nice compliments from friends and even strangers in parking lots. Rattle near steering column when harsh road conditions exist including crossing a lane divider on Interstate highways. Passenger side mirror obstructs view too much to teh right. Huge blind spot. Trunk can't hold 4 sets of golf clubs. Cup holders in center console too small. Check out VW Passat, Jetta, and Honda Civic as examples. The back seat is a little tight for a car with such a long wheelbase. VW Passat has more room in back seat and trunk. Resale value is weak making me reconsider a different vehicle next time. Hyundai has been improving but need to continue to get better. Two different Hyundai dealer sales experiences for Genesis brand are not comparable to much better sales experiences at Infiniti and Lexus dealerships. Hurry up with the new Genesis brand only dealers. They may cure this ill. Comments are meant to be constructive criticism.

Great Vehicle

I love this car! Rides and accelerates good. Loads of features which took me a few days to learn. The Google app on the navigation is a nice feature for locating places. The only negative I can give this car is the stereo. This has 14 speakers. There is very little bass. Nice sound but lacking. The same thing was said by other owners on a Genesis message board. People are adding subwoofers to correct this and I would think the engineers at Hyundai, installing a 14 speaker system, would have noticed this. Thus my 4 star rating instead of 5 star. A side note, I'm getting 25 mpg in this heavy car, which surprised me.

My experience with my 2016 Ultimate genesis

The only thing that prohibits my giving this car a five star rating..... the very poor design of the key fob (prominent button..allows key to separate from fob. Lost forever) it's been a source of discontent since I took delivery. Appealed to corporate (waste of time). The car itself is a joy to drive lots of tech for the money. Perhaps in the future their corporate attitude will match their price point.

Great so far

I've had the car for a little over a year; overall, I'm pleased with the vehicle. Some minor issues that were handled well by the dealership. Biggest issue is the app for remote start - frequently doesn't work & often takes a long time for the signal to make it to the car.

Good vehicle.

Only issue I've had is a/c compressor ailed after 15 months of lease but the team at Hyundai LaQuinta did a nice job with diagnosis and repairs. Otherwise I am very have with the Genesis and would recommend to others .
