Great luxury vehicle for a reasonable price
I bought my 2016 Genesis 3.8 AWD Ultimate Package, Certified Pre-owned in July 2018. I was interested in the Genesis, but wanted to be sure it had some of my minimum requirements: quiet cabin, and comfortable seat. The Genesis delivered on both fronts! I was very happy when I took it for a test drive, and could listen to the radio and have a conversation without turning up the volume to cover the road noise. Also, the Genesis driver's side has so many adjustments on the seat, including an expandable thigh bolster that it feels like you're sitting in an easy chair while you're driving. It would be nice to have this on the passenger side, as my husband feels that seat is too short for his long legs. The safety features definitely keep me out of trouble, with audible and sensory warnings and adjustments. The Lexicon sound system is full-bodied, it surrounds you such that you don't need to turn the radio down to have a conversation with your passengers. Technology features are great although a little redundant. I can use the touchscreen, joystick and steering wheel to do many of the same things. Apple Carplay is missing from this version although it appears to be available in the other packages. I like the analog clock, as I found digital clocks could sometimes be obstructed by glare while driving. I LOVE the sun/moonroof! That too can be open while having the radio on and conversations, which is a real benefit. The car looks and drives great! I get tons of compliments and looks on the road. Beautiful vehicle with great amenities at an affordable price.
