Cameras work sporadically; when I took it in for service, I was told unless they were not working when I bring it in, they can’t be fixed. No built-in remote garage door opener in vehicle.

Recommendations pending splash guard fix

Our overall experience is very good, though we are currently at only 11,000 miles after 2 years on the road. I do have two complaints to date. The first is just an annoyance, the "Driver Attention" feature recommending taking a break (that little coffee cup). Unlike our 2020 Tucson, you can not disable this alert, and it is, as I said, very annoying. The other complaint is a problem we had recently. The "splash guard" detached in the front last May and had to be replaced, which was done by the dealer where we purchased the vehicle. I picked the car up on June 1, and on June 15 the new one also popped loose at the front and was mangled while driving down the highway. I'm taking it back to the dealer to have it replaced again after only two weeks. The fasteners that hold this splash guard in place are totally ineffective and unreliable by design. Hyundai needs to do better to secure this part. I'm counting on my dealer to make good on this repair and find a way to prevent any future problems. They have been very good with our 2020 Tucson.

Great gas mileage, with all the technology expected from a luxury car

Comfort and reliability in 152,000 miles only expected fluid services and tires. Absolutely the most reliable and comfortable car in its price bracket on the market today. Recommend test driving a Sonata before you purchase any other sedan

Stylish and Efficient

The Sonata is equipped well above its price point. From the safety technology included, the wrap around infotainment screen and quality of the materials, this vehicle outclasses its rivals (Honda and Toyota). The hybrid consistently achieved anywhere from 42-52mpg.
