Windshield design makes me ill

good car

the sonata is doing as expected. 40{ miles per gal so far, It doesn't have the get up and go of my prior sonata put the mpg sure is better.

Solid Vehicle

I’ve got about 3500 miles on my 2026 Sonata Hybrid. I don’t have a lot of complaints, but one that’s taken some getting used to is that this vehicle can hesitate when attempting a quick acceleration under certain circumstances. The circumstance I’ve noticed it most is when you’re at low speed and try to punch it to accelerate onto a highway acceleration ramp. It seems like occasionally the car gets confused whether it should use the gas or electric and takes a second or two to decide before it accelerates. It’s not a big deal, but it does catch you by surprise the first time it happens.

Very reliable and extra great ride.

Our 2026 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid Limited is the second Sonata Hybrid we've purchased new so we know how reliable they are. We didn't spend any money on repairs on our 13 year-old Sonata Hybrid. I have never owned a more fun car to drive. The 2026 is over and above technology with all the driver assist features. It is a smooth ride. It "fits" me and I am short. Love this car because it is beautiful, I trust it to keep me safe, and it's like a luxury car without the high price tag.

New 26 Hybrid Sonata Limited/Replaced 24 Kona

This is my 11th Hyundai vehicle in 15 years. I keep upgrading because the quality gets better and better. This vehicle is unbelievable. The options are terrific. The ride is smooth. I had them put on Goodyear Assurance 2 tires before I bought it as a stipulation. These tires are incredible, but I’ve already known that. If you want a great vehicle at a great price that will last you forever buy one of these the mileage I’m getting is 45 to 46 daily and up to 53 miles per gallon on the highway.

Sleek, attractive, comfortable to drive

Every aspect of the car is good. However, there are few things that can be improved: 1) lane watch, steering control response is slow compared to Honda odyssey I have. 2) engine is rough when starting in cold, but once warmed up, it is very smooth.

Great mileage and excellent features

The hybrid engine works great and gives 45 mpg in city and more than 50 mpg on freeway when you don’t drive aggressively. The safety features are great and sensitive. However I don’t like the “coffee break” reminder with its tone which is kind of erratic. I haven’t found a way to turn it off. The overall height is bit short for me so have to watch out getting in and out of the vehicle.
