Hyundai sonata

I've had the car for 10 years and it has been great except for headlights and taillights. I have had to replace them numerous times.

My Sonata experience

I love my 2006 Sonata. Mostly because it has been so reliable. It's important for me to feel safe and have a dependable vehicle when traveling I've had no major problems with maintenance of the vehicle. I have over 175,000 miles and it's still running great. It has been a great experience.

A fine transportation value

This is our 2nd Sonata our first has over 215,000 miles. I would not restate to purchase another Sonata. The 10 yr / 100K powertrain warranty is what gives us peace of mind.

My Sonata My Family Member

I bought this vehicle in 2009, when we were expecting a baby. I am fully satisfied with the performance, reliability and safety of this car that I was confident enough that may Family will be in safe hands when we are driving on highways with zooming speedy other vehicles.

Hyundai Sonata

I like my car it has the features only the top rated new ones have now. I have not spent too much on repairs/upkeep. My biggest complaint would be my cd player. When it is winter cold it will not play has to warm up.

2006 Hyundai Sonata

Overall my Hyundai Sonata has been a really good car for 12 years. I has very low miles (47,000), but has failures you wouldn't expect. Just had the fuel pump die on me, while in traffic. I most certainly did not expect that part to fail at such a low mileage, but it did. Repair is expensive.

I am at 95,000 miles and this car is runnining great. Just follow your routine maintenance and I am sure you will experience the same. The only major repairs were an AC compressor and a head gasket. No other problems with this vehicle.

12 and still ticking

I bought the car in 2006 in Austin. I got the color with the features I wanted......There was only one small problem early on... the seat switch went bad. It eas replaced no problem since....The has 67,000 miles and I to keep a while longer.. Sorry Hyundai... Not trading any time soon..

2006 sonata lx

The 2006 hyundai sonata is a major leap from previous sonatas. The 3.3 v6 has plenty of power. The transmission shifts very smooth. I was very surprised by how much room this car had. Overall I am very happy with the 2006 sonata.

Solid Car for Your Money

This is the first Hyundai that I thought looked pretty good. It also has the feel of a solidly made car. Mine has 130k miles and still running strong. With their 100k warranty, Hyundai has proven to be a company that stands by the cars they sell. Recommended.

Good Car

This vehicle has held up well. I did not have any major issues except aa alternator and thermostat; both covered under warranty. It runs smooth, still powerful, and idles silently. It has 124,000 miles on it. Seats are a little flat. Lights on the dashboard are an ugly pea green and the radio (AM) does not work.

Started out as a good car

Low mileage-151,000. 13 years old. Transmission gone and Power steering gone. I was hoping to drive it longer. I usually keep a car for about 15 years and was hoping to drive this one longer than 13 years.

Just purchased this vehicle 2 weeks ago and have great expectation of it's performance in the future.

Quiet old beast. Still pleasant to drive.

This car is old, a 2006. It has been very reliable, has lots of power and is quiet. It's a little hard on gas compared with newer cars and I wish it had a backup camera, I nearly traded it a couple of years ago and am glad I didn't.
