GLS 4dr Sedan (2.4L 4cyl 5A)

Great Car! I have get 40 Miles per gallon/6.9 liters per 100 liters on the highway and 35 Highway - City mixed. Just past my second anniversary and the 50,000 Km mark. I have done only regular maintenance. I appreciate the great dealer service too. I cannot say enough positive about the car as it is still just like new. I drove a Volvo before this and the Sonata is a superior car never mind the value for dollar you get!

My Sonata for the past nine years

Remember how Buick and Mercury customers used to buy their brand and keep it forever; well that is the way I feel about my Sonata. Every year I ask my wife if I should get a new car. She invariably says, what is wrong with your Sonata? And I have continued to say, nothing. For nine straight years, it just keeps on ticking. It has been a great car; perhaps the most reliable car I have ever owned - my first going back to a 1952 flathead six Pontiac which I purchased in 1962.

My Hyundai

I have owned this car for eight years and have found it to be very durable. My major complaint is that at idle, the air conditioning stops cooling. Other Hyundai owners that I know also have the same complaint. The dealer says this is normal. I live in Florida and I find it very annoying.

THINGS TO CONSIDER DURING NEXT AUTO PURCHASE

Though I am pleased with the overall performance of the vehicle - the cabin is very noisy; a/c/heating unit very noisy when running; and unable to see time and radio settings during daylight hours. Also, would have liked to have side mirrors that fold back. If I had paid closer attention to these I items, I probably would not have purchased the car.

Running great after 7 years without any major problems. Only had to spend money on routine maintenance items like tires, oil/filter changes, alignmeent. Car looks showroom new & is a pleasure to drive.

I absolutely love my 2009 Sonata. I really can't say enough good things about it and there is absolutely nothing negative. When it is time to "move on" I will definitely choose a Hyundai. I've had a Camry, a 4-runner, and an Accord, but they can't begin to compare to my Sonata!

I love my Hyundai

I will be purchasing another Hyundai when it's time to retire this one. My 2009 Sonata is in excellent shape and I don't have a good reason to get a new car because this one still runs like new.
