Economical and reliable

My 2009 Hyundai Sonata has been very reliable. At the time of purchase, it was the best value for its class. I've only had minor repairs and recommended maintenance. My husband offered to buy me a new car but I said, "no thank you!"

I have purchased Hyundai vehicles for several years and plan to replace my current vehicle with another Hyundai

I have owned Hyundai vehicles for approximately twenty years, I enjoy driving my vehicle , it gets good gas mileage, it is comfortable to drive, I enjoy the extras, the size makes it comfortable to ride in yet roomy for five passengers.

Hyundai Sonata

My Sonata is almost 10 years old (2009 model). Never have had a problem with it since I bought it new. I hope it stays that way for a little longer. It's an easy car to drive, and has a lot of features. It still looks great despite its age, and it even with the V6 engine it gets good gas mileage. It's not a sports car but is styled kind of sporty, and I still like it. This is the second Hyundai I have purchased new and both turned out to be trouble free cars.

Sturdy And Reliable Car

A little under powered l, definitely not for someone on the bigger side good car for a first time driver. Great Gas mileage, a lil peppy if your not on the heavier side, very sturdy acceleration is smooth.

The car, for the most part, is very reliable. Very efficient gas-wize

The vehicle runs very well and so far has been reliable. The only irritating problem I have had has been with window switches. The rear left passenger one broke and the right one too. And hardly anyone sits back there to break it. They don''t seem to be made too sturdy.

My 2009 Hyuandai Sonota

I am very pleased with my car with the exception of the blind spot. I would enjoy buttons to adjust my seat instead of pulling the lever with my hands also. It is sometimes painful for people with health issue like rheumatoid arthritis.

My sonata

Had my car since 2009. I like the way it handles on the highway quiet and smooth still and its 2018. Going forward one more car to purchase it might be another sonata or a upgrade. Not sure maybe in the next year.

Close to 200,000 miles and going strong

We have put many hard miles in as my kids grew up in the back seat. Now they drive it and still no major repairs. There is room for 5 people comfortably and the trunk can pack an amazing amount. We have only done routine mantanice.

Great vehicle!

My 2009 Sonata has been a great vehicle! The only issue I've had with it is its paint. Perhaps it's the FL sun, but it started peeling off in patches and there's no warrantee cover it. My previous Santa Fe had paint issues too and faded, however, I drove it until it had 268K miles! Another great vehicle!

Great car

Great car, I can do some repairs myself. Plastic is getting brittle so I need to go to pull and pay to take care of some switches and center console. The leather seats could be of better quality and I’ve gone through 3 starters at 172k miles.

'09 Sonata

Ours is a V-6 SE Limited, most of which is just the trim level but the 3.3 V-6 id reliable, not bad on gas and plenty of power for this car. Got it with 85,000 Mi. on it and went straight to synthetic oil. Interior is nice also. We would not have ordered thi$ trim level but this is how it is with used cars. The only real issue I have with it is not the car but the alloy wheels as they eventually begin to corrode inside the bead and the valve causing slow air leaks way more often than we like to see. I'd prefer steel wheels and hub caps. TPM valves are costly if they break while removing to clean the corrosion out.

I have had my car since 2009 and it has over 233,000 miles it is continuing to service me well. I keep my major service work and regular oil chains done. Hope to get 500,000 miles out of her but will settle for 400,000 over halfway there.

This car is dependable and road worthy. I have driven it on long road trips with no problems.Trunk space is adequate.I like the adjustable seats, being able to tilt slightly. Sliding the seat back & forth to provide more leg room in the front or for back seat passengers.

Good value

Decent gas mileage, manual transmission is fun. Fits my kids’ three car seats across in the back seat, roomy trunk, starts every time. Sadly my car is from New York State originally so it has underbody rust. Rear crossmember replaced under recall. Great features for the price, easy to drive and run.

I have been so happy with this car, it never breaks. It is a 2009 and has 150,000 miles on it and I have had no serious problems. It drives well. it is comfortable, and very reliable. It didn't even need much at its 100,000 mile check up. Very happy.

Sonata Limited

I purchased this Sonata Limited used from a private individual with approximately 47,200 miles. I now have 95,230 miles. No major problems just normal wear and tear upkeep. Love the gas mileage and it has been a reliable source of transportation. i would not hesitate to purchase another Hyundail..

Good choice

This vehicle is very clean, comfortable and has a lot of room for passengers, trunk is very good. Have only drove it home from the dealer, but runs great AC is cold. The only thing I found was when I got on the highway the cruise did not work.

Hyundai good cars, good value

I was introduced to the Hyundai brand through experience with a car rental. I was highly impressed with the power and smoothness of the vehicle handling. As a result, my choice for my next car purchase was a Hyundai. I bought a 2009 Hyundai Sonata, pre- owned with 35,000 miles in 2011. It has been a very reliable and smooth driving and powerful car even after the Hyundai Sonata went from 6 cylinders to 4. My car currently has 125,000 miles and I have had no major issues only regular maintenance items. I feel it could go for another 50,000 miles, easily.

Now it’s demanding more work every other month , which is pathetic

Now my vehicle Ihs’s run only 122500 miles and it needs more work every other month , like I replaced battery alternator and now there are some oil leakage, which is little frustrating, else it’s very nice car .
