Great choice!

I bought this car with my brother's recommendation. He bought one two years earlier and loved it, so I went from a Buick to my 2009 Sonata. It still runs like new and gets better mileage than the sticker claimed. I have driven it in every type of weather, from 30 degrees below zero to over 100 degrees and high humidity. I take pride in the fact that it has never failed starting, even though it has never been plugged in. I bought a new 2018 Santafe today and I'm not giving it up. My wife wants to sell her Chevy and keep the Sonata. Great idea!

Over all great car

Hyundai car's are the best to buy , trouble free and cheap to drive. Love it , and I know you will to. And I would recommend a Hyundai to any body, witch I did to my sister and she had two all ready, and she loves her ride.

I fell in love with my car and wouldn’t change it for nothing. All my family own one. I will continue with my car it’s almost paid off. I would like to upgrade to a 2012 I seen one and fell in love with it for now I will just enjoy my baby lol.

I really enjoy driving my Sonata. The engine has nice pick up to move out & into traffic. It also cruises the interstate quite well. Thank you. I'm sorry I haven't any more to say, but this would not submit without 200 characters.

2009 Hyundai

I really like my 2009 Hyundai. It has been a very good and comfortable vehicle. My husband and I bought it in January of 2010. I have had a lot of people that have wanted to buy it from me. I have no desire to sell or trade it in. I am very short, and this car is very comfort in every way for me. Even the newer car seats are not as easy to raise to the level that I need. The only thing that disappointed me in this vehicle is that the GPS went out about 2 years ago. I was told that it would cost me about $400 to replace it. So, I bought a portable GPS, which works fine, but it was so convenient to view the one that the car came with. It was right there in front of me at all times, and I didn't have to pull it out of storage and plug it in.

Best care ever!

Love this car! Hyundai needs to make more cars like my 2009 Hyundai Sonata. I wouldn't trade this car in for any other car. Every time I drive my car I know its reliable and good on gas when I'm traveling out of town.

I like the car a lot especially the gas mileage and it's easy maintenance. The car was bought at a good price and I mostly use it for work so it's been very dependable.

My experience overall has been good since I bought the car no complaints it's very reliable. If I had it to do all over again I would pick this car you get what you pay for. I see a lot of these. Cars on the road today as a matter of fact. #Thanks HappyHyundai

This car has been amazing

We bought this car new in 2009 and it has given us almost zero problems. We just had to replace a starter, but that was to be expected because I start my car a lot. It has over 210,000 miles and seems to be going strong. I got regular oil changes and that’s about all besides normal wear like tires and brakes. It has been a great car!

Love my hyundai sonata

I really love my 2009 Hyundai Sonata. Its got almost 80,000 miles on it and its still running great. I am very pleased with this car and plan to keep it as long as possible I like the way the car drives, its very comfortable.

2009 Hyundai Sonata--still running fabulously after all these years!

I love my Hyundai Sonata! All other cars pale in comparison. Drive one and you will know what I am talking about!!! Even after all these years I would not trade my Sonata for any other car on or off the highway. Safe and dependable and quiet.

Efficient, well-made, reliable

This is my second purchase of a Hyundai Sonata. As with my first one, my 2009 is still performing just as efficiently and reliably as the day I purchased it. There have been no major repairs required and I, faithfully, follow the maintenance schedule suggested for optimum performance and road worthiness and only allow my Hyundai Service team service my vehicle; they do an awesome job @ KEFFER HYUNDAI on Independence Blvd. in Charlotte, NC!

Great little car. Great design. Great little, powerful, economical, engine that performs much better than I expected.

We drove this little car across the entire United States and Canada and could not be happier about its comfort and performance. Its performance really surprised us. After driving only 8 cylinder cars for many years, the 4 cylinders of the Sonata, which, like a powerful, galloping horse, always wanted to run, came as a real, happy surprise. The only cloud that I can think of are the two design flows that I hope Hyundai is able to correct: The cheap plastic door handle that broke in my hand while simply OPENING the door, and the place to rest my hands while driving that completely takes off my skin when resting on those surfaces. I hope that Hyundai can do better for the drivers of the future.

We purchased the 2009 Sonata new in October 2009. Currently have 271,000+ miles on it. Have only done normal maintenance on it. No problems. Love the car, rides great, gas mileage good and very reliable.

Best car I've ever owned

I purchased this car from the dealer when it was a year old. I felt that I got a good deal, and continue to feel that this car has met all my needs. It is comfortable, low maintenance, room for my stuff, and looks good, too. I would purchase another Hyundai if I need another car.

Our 2009 Sonata has over 170,000 miles. We have had all of the maintenance done at Earnhardt Hyundai, and it runs perfectly! We love it. Earnhardt Hyundai does an excellent job at keeping our car serviced correctly.

I would definitely recommend this car. I have 156,000 miles on it. It has held up like a champ. I have taken it on many long trips. Gas mileage is good. Comfort is good. The car responds to quick turns. Able to make u turns in small area.
