Nice vehicle but salesperson untruthful

Received a good price on the vehicle which included the navigation package. In speaking with the salesman specifically about navigation updates, the updates can be done by their mechanics. On my last oil change, I asked about a map update since it has been 2 years and was informed that there is a $500 charge. Being that the navigation package came with a moon roof which I did not need, With the charge for updates of map being so great, it is like buying a completely new system for each map update. I may be looking at another car maker on my next purchase as a result of this.

The car is okay

I have a 2014 sonata and I had it for 2 years. except my son using it mostly. I'm just waiting until he gets the rotos fixed so he can drive the car again.

Fast and Comfortable

My Sonata Limited 2.0T is a high quality car that is faster than most cars on the road. The Sonata is extremely comfortable on long trips. The trunk holds everything we take on our two month trips to Arizona. This is my 2nd lease of this great model.

Pretty pleased

Enjoy ride, maneuverability and fuel economy of my 2014 Sonata. Only criticism is the Kumho tires. Their durability is terrible. Only got about 24,000 miles before they had to be replaced -- similar performance to tires on my previously owned 2012 Sonata. Suggest Hyundai switch to another tire manufacturer.

Passenger seat

Would have given 5 stars, except I don't like that passenger seat doesn't even have a manual height adjustment. Never have owned a car that didn't have a height adjustment. And for the price, this should be a feature. Thanks

Overall, A Great Car

I have owned the Sonata for 5 months and drive less than most people. Quite roomy interior and trunk as compared to other similar sized vehicles. Great acceleration for a 4-cylinder. In my opinion, the extra initial cost for the turbo model is not necessary, plus adds maintenance cost. Still has that clicking sound from engine compartment at idle, but I'm trying different brands of gas to see if it makes a difference. Everyone that rides in it says it's a great ride, but I think the ride is harsh. Electric-assist (adjustable) steering allows car to wander all over the road. Must use "sport" setting on highway to keep the car under control. Other settings are okay elsewhere. As with other cars, the view through the rear window is limited as compared to older cars. The backup camera is a great help for backing, but the lighting of the camera view could be better. I would buy this car again, but will probably get a later model when I do trade.
