Pleasant to Drive

My 2014 Hyundai Sonata has all the features I need for a pleasant drive. It is dependable and reasonable to maintain. Fuel efficiency is very good as well. The only unpleasant feature is that road noise is a bit to much. The undercarriage needs to be better insulated.

Great car

Car rides great and responds well in emergency situations (steering and braking). Passenger seat is too low in my model that has no way of raising the seat. My wife is 5'2" and I have her sitting on a cushion to not only let her see out the windows but out of my concern in case the airbag is deployed it would be like a small child is sitting there and she could be severely injured by it. There are also large blind spots caused by the airbags in the roof supports on both sides of the car. Coupled with the side view mirrors it make an unsafe visibility issue (especially when my wife is driving). I am 6'2" tall and I need a hand towel to cushion my right knee against the console on long trips.

2014 Hyundai Sonata

The only draw back to the vehicle is that only the driver seat is air conditioned and elctrically adjustable. The front passenger sit way to low and misses a great deal of view. I would like to see these issues offered as a fix in the future at a reasonable cost. Especially the front passenger seat adjustment.

Classy Sonata

We have had very little trouble with our Sonata, since purchasing from North County Hyundai...The staff is always gracious and pleasant to work with. We also purchased an Elantra, which I drive and enjoy the values this car provides! We have not had a bad experience with the dealership!

Need for speed

While I could have bought another vehicle, I chose the Sonata. I drove my daughter's Accent until it was totaled by another driver. I absolutely loved driving that car. The first Sonata I bought had the speed I was looking for. It only have 190 horses, but the acceleration is smooth as can be. My first one anyway because I have to be honest and say, not all Sonata GLS are built the same. I really miss it.

Nice car

I got a solid quality car. I took base 2014 LS model and added a remote starter, heated lathered seats for Chicago winter. Just celebrated 3 years anniversary and so far just oil change and scheduled maintenance. It has a good leg room and start torque.

Favorite car in over 40 years!

I love my Sonata and would highly recommend it to anyone! The features are outstanding! From the sleek design, to the sound system, heated seats, more than ample leg room and fantastic trunk space!

Sonata

Two issues: passenger is lie and cannot be raised. Light by the switch for the sunroof us sheets in and cannot be turned off. It is called a mood light and it is too bright and shines in your eye when driving. Great gas mileage. Love it!

Sonata 2014

This is my 4th Sonata. However I'd like it to beep when backing up and a front camera & beep. This 2014 doesn't hold smooth when windy like my 2011.

I just received my 2nd recall letter, I did not expect this from Hyundai, reads: Hyundai has determined that metal debris may have been generated from factory machining operations as part of the manufacturing of the engine. This debris may restrict oil flow to the bearings and increasing the potential of premature bearing wear. You will receive another letter when to bring your vehicle in.
