LOVE IT!
My 2014 Hyundai Sonata is an outstanding car, and after a year of ownership, I love it even more than when I drove it off the lot.
The vehicle looks great, has a powerful engine, smooth and responsive steering, and very good gas mileage.
If you are a big guy like me, 6'3"/270, there won't be many mid-sized sedans that seat you comfortably. In my Sonata, I've got plenty of leg and seat room.
The 10-year warranty was definitely a major selling point, but I know I made an excellent choice. I got a fantastic deal on my Sonata and in the year I've had it, outside of two service appointments for scheduled maintenance, I only had to take the car in for unplanned service twice; both times it was for the tire sensor showing. They were probably triggered because of the weather change and I wasn't charged either time.
The service work I had went extremely well and though not intentionally, I dealt with two different Hyundai dealerships.
The only gripe I have about my 2014 Hyundai Sonata is the BlueLink system. This is a navigation, road side assistance, and emergency cal/reaction system that I pay a fee to use that doesn't always work properly. It definitely doesn't do everything the manual or the website says it can do. Giving credit where it's due, when the BlueLink receives your request correctly, and this may take a few attempts, it does provide good and accurate directions. Just be aware that some of the directions will show and speak a split second before you have to drive them.
Overall, you will serve yourself well by checking out the Sonata. It's got style, power, and comfort.
