Good Car, But not thrilling

It is a finely built car. I have a limited edition which has leather seats, rear view camera etc. The car is huge, spacious and finish is very very good. But, it is a bit sluggish to drive. Bad in normal mode. The ECO mode is even worse. It is decent in sport mode, but I hate that I have to switch modes for normal regular driving. It is a great car if you are always driving between 40-70mph. I used to have its cousin Kia OPTIMA, which is clearly far superior in performance. Hyundai Sonata is a good car, but less nimble.

New Hyundai

Good car, easy to drive, spacious and plenty of room. Love the LED daytime running lights. Need to eliminate the road noise by making vehicle more defined.

Great Car

It is a great car and gets great gas mileage. I am SHOCKED at how quick the car lost value though. It's not even worth half of the sticker price I bought it for a little over a year and a half ago. If I had to buy another car soon, I wouldn't buy a Sonata for this reason alone.

Great car, but no get-up-and-go..

Love the look and feel of the car and love the gas mileage. However, maybe I am spoiled as my last car was a 6-cylinder, but you cannot depend on this car to move when you need to on the freeway. Step on the gas and wait... shift down... then accelerate...

20015 sonata limited

Vehicle has sleek design but does not have the power to accelerate as I thought. The interior lighting is excellent as the sound system and the quality of the leather seating is average.

Sonata Sport

Previously owned 2006 Hyundai Sonata GLS. Was pleased with the ride and operability of car. Had to not compare the Sport to the GLS. It seemed when I was test driving, the Sport's engine was not noisy and heard little road noise inside of car. Dealer did not have the color (silver) I wanted in stock. Contacted another dealer for car.

Nice for Simple drive

I am driving this vehicle for almost 1 year and 3 months. I was enjoying this Initially. But as my driving continues, I feel slight sluggish. I had my factory update recently after that it was fine. But after that I feel it a slight sluggish.I don't know if that is because of my route. I feel my car is not as good as it is. I know it's been 1 year.

Covers 2015 Sport Sonata and 2014 Elantra

Covers 2015 Sport Sonata and 2014 Elantra Purchased Sonata on my daughters recommendation as a quality car. Everything is above average on the cars excepts braking systems and good visibility out side and back windows. Braking will not stop you fast enough to avoid accidents. Reduced side window visibility not safe in heavy traffic.

Sonata Sport, Not so sporty

Vehicle looks and offers great options and is well constructed. The engine does not live up to the "turbo" name badge and has poor power and responsiveness upon acceleration.

Love the car but value sucks

I love my car but after 18 months of having it my trade in value is 50% of what I paid for it.. I paid 32k for this and this week it was valued at 16k which is absolutely horrendous.. I would now do anything to get out of this upside down loan.. if I only knew this before I bought this I would never of got it.

2015 Hyundai Sonata

It's a great vehicle for the price however, there is more left to be desired from this vehicle. For a mid-sized vehicle of this size it should have north of 200 horsepower. Also I feel it needs more braking power. At emergency stops on the freeway, the brakes are not enough to bring this vehicle to a halt. I hope these minor problems can be addressed.

Love my car

I love my car but it has a very slow take off and the GPS is horrible I use my cellphone for my GPS my husband drove my car and said the same exact two things about my car.

Not impressed

I would buy another one, it just alot of little things like a cheaply made molding that constantly breaks and has to be replaced. Covered by warranty but it's the aggravation of having to bring it in constantly.

A questionable new version.

I have a 2011 Sonata Limited Turbo I upgraded after 4 years to a 2015 limited turbo Sonata I was very disappointed with the overall upgrade.

Bland and uninspired transportation

The Hyundai Sonata is a nice looking car but it is more a utilitarian vehicle than a car that inspires some love. Comfortable yes, exciting no. It also has a weak stereo infotainment system and if you do not purchase the upper trims its low on amenities. The engine of it is the non turbo has horrible acceleration and sounds even worse. It has truly soured me on Hyundai.
