Very frustrated with this one

This is my second Sonata. The 2013 one was fabulous. On this 2015 one, I've had a lot of aggravation. The Sirius radio has never worked properly despite being there many times. The antenna needed to be replaced for another problem. My fuel pump shorted out leaving me stranded an hour and a half from home on the same day it was serviced and the emergency brake was fixed due to a recall. I'm done with Sonatas

Comfort

Front seats feel as if your body is tilting downward. Upholstered seats are not easy to clean. :(

Hyundai sonata

It's great except it's not great on gas. It recently started vibrating when slowing down but nothing is wrong with my brakes o tires.

Transmission acts as though it's going to stall

While this car has really nice features I can't get passed the shifting transition. The driving is smooth until it's time to shift gears, the transmission acts as though it's going to stall; which was very freighting while at a traffic light. The vehicle will jolt or jerk while in the process of shifting. I've taken it in to get it looked at several times and they can't find anything wrong with it. I was told this was normal due to it being a dual clutch transmission. It has nothing to do with the mileage being that it's only at 7,882. This shifting is very uncomfortable and very unsettling for me. Over all it has great features and is a smooth drive when it isn't shifting.

2015 sonata

I purchased my sonata in 2014 after reluctantly selling a car I drove for 12 years. I needed something new and reliable .the sonata had a great lease deal at the time so I ended up purchasing the base line model because I didn’t feel like I needed all the bells and whistles . I was able to walk out of the dealership with no money down and a payment under $250 a month.

2007 was a better model year.

The car runs hard not smooth. It seem to have more trouble early than the pass models. Not good for long trips at all. Looks great inside and out. The 2007 model that I had for over seven years did not give any problem until it was over the one hundred thousand mile, been on trips with a smooth and comfy ride. 2015 model will not make my next vacation. Plan on renting so the long drive is comfortable and enjoyable.

Features.

I got the 2015 sonata limited edition, because of the enormous features it carries e.g lane c Departure warning, smart cruise control,heated steering wheel, heating & cooling seats, features only the BMW's or Lexus carry at a price much lower than expensive models.

2015 Sonata 2.0T Limited

Had issues with vehicle running rough and making a hissing noise at like 10,000 miles. Turbo was bad and they did institute a recall for this issue I was told. The rotors needed to be replaced before 30,000 miles due to warping and not covered under regular warranty. They weren't covered under extended warranty either. Vehicle is driven mostly by my wife and not driven hard. Inferior materials used for the rotors I believe. Vehicle now has approximately 50,000 miles and the issue seems to be happening again. When you pay this kind of money for a vehicle things like this are very frustrating and costly. I've owed other vehicles in the same classification with more miles as this vehicle and not experienced this before. Hyundai needs to address this issue with better quality materials.

Smooth ride but bad mileage

Disappointed that this car has lost so much value in one year. Also disappointed in gas mileage and the partial cloth seats. For this price we should have all leather. My favorite features are the navigation system and the extra safety features such as lane change alerts.

Winter has been rough

I am disappointed at how easily this front wheel drive car has gotten stuck. Considering an AWD vehicle this summer. I am not sure if I will get another Hyundai or not at this point. While the service team has been wonderful, we are having issues that cannot be replicated and that is a concern.

weight of the car

First of all, I was told that the lease was for 3 years and later on I've found out that the sales department has put it for 4 years. This is our 3rd Sonata lease and the car is good in size wise, but has not too much of a weight.

Acceleration problem and seat problem

Yesterday when parking my car it accelerated and caused me to hit the car in front of me. My foot was not on the gas pedal and I was unable to stop the car. I did look on the internet to see if anyone else had complained of this problem as well as calling the dealership I bought it from. There were other cases on the internet. The gentleman I talked to at the dealership had never heard of any problems. I am now uneasy when driving my car.

Sonata

Average car. Good value but does not compare to my camry. The styling is nice but lacks luxury features. The radio has had some issues and has been reset a few times. It does get good gas mileage but the brakes went early.

Not a Queen's Ride

TIt was not purchased from your dealership but Northpark. I was disappointed that I didn't check with your dealership first. It's an O.K. car and I was blessed to be able to purchase it at that time. I am not sure I would purchase another Hyundai.

2015 Sonata SE

Good car but not as good as my Sonata 2004, which I had for 11 years! after almost three years and 19,000 miles I find it comfortable to drive, however in windy areas you can feel it blowing through..

Cruise control

The cruise control on this car is horrible. I hate the way it kind of jerks you when it is trying to slow the car down or speed the car up. I have never had a car do this before. The radio sometimes does not come on either. You have to shit the car off open the door and get out then get back out for it to turn back on. You can not just shut the car off.

I think Hyundai is great, I'm not to sure about rick case and pre owned cars.

car is very good, I'm not to sure about service on pre owned cars. I have loved Hyundai based on the two new ones I had, but the preowned car should have had the same service checked out before selling it.
