disappointed in moonroof

moonroof screen poorly designed of cheap materials. Broke after only 3 uses,with less then 400 miles on vehicle.Dealer addressed issue very quickly however should not have needed repair so soon after purchase. Now waiting to see what else will break, engineers who designed the screen should be fired. this screen is subjected to extreme wind forces, and should have been made of more durable materials not plastic.

Terrible seats and rough shifting

The transmission sometimes feel like its going to fall out when it changes gears. Especially in the ECO driving mode. The bolsters on the Sport Edition seats are not friendly to larger people and changes the whole feel of the car.

Spacious vehicle

I miss the different little compartments to be able to store things like coins and other small items. The door is really heavy which makes it hard to open sometimes and the hands free phone system could be better. Callers on the other end have a hard time hearing the driver.

Review

Like the color style disappointed with stereo had a Hyundai previously and was awesome much as I paid would expect good sound. End up with basic stereo no bass will have to pay more money just to enjoy. My fault but had a 2006 Honda excellent sound so did not expect 2016 to have such a poor sound. Didn't check so my fault very disappointed

Hyundai review

I was not able to finish the question relating to finding information in auto manual. 1. Could not fine any information on location of oil filter or oil pan plug, or that what under panel to remove for change oil, this info. was not in manual. 2. Auto Navigation system if installed was unable to activate. If the items that I pointed out were cleared up I could rate the survey higher.

New car delivery

I mentioned to my salesperson (John Chissom) back when I first got the car that my navigation needed an update. He told me the service dept. was busy and should wait and have it done when in for service. I Brought the car in for service last Monday and asked to have the navigation update. The service told me they don't do that. So, I went to sales manager on the floor and he instructed a salesman to assist me. He told me i needed to contact the company that provides the navigation. However, I inquired about my navigation, noting it needed an update and was informed it would cost me over $160.00. Something is not right, I should of driven off with my new car with everything up to date. I am extremely disappointed with Hyundai.

2016 sonata sports

Love driving my car up until I had problems with power steering, which had many recalls on. Luckily I found a dealer, that took the time to work out the problems. Dealer I purchased car through seemed to not want to be bothered, I even called my sales person. You can rest assure I will not return to MJ Sullivan, New London CT

Good car but some disappointments

I have the eco version of the sonata. While it's got nice style and multiple drive versions, I'm disappointed with some of the features. The car rolls backwards at times and feels like it's struggling a lot I brought this up at my first oil change and was told this was normal because it's a big car with a small engine. But these things are not exactly safe considering other drivers expect you to stay put or get going when the light turns green which puts me and my family in a car accident risk. Also The gas mileage is quite disappointing, they boast 28 city and 38 hwy. I don't get even close to either even when the roads and freeways are clear. I thought I was going to end up saving a lot of money because of the great gas mileage. Unfortunately, that's not the case. Now the good, I really like the Android auto in it. The style features of the car are nice.

Decent car for the money

My sonata is better than an Elantra or my previous 2013 accent still but infrequent updates of the CarPlay feature and the recall problem I experienced at 11,000 mi has lowered my opinion of the car. Very roomy and otherwise nice car for the money.

I loved my Hyundai Sonata Sport 2016, when I first purchased it. But, I had many problems with my power steering.

I was so thankful when Central Hyundai of Plainfield, CT stepped into the picture and worked on my vehicle to try and correct the problem. I still love my car but, still cautious about problem returning, so far so good. My former dealership, M J Sullivan New London CT wasn't willing to work with me. They wanted me to drive my car to dealership after I told the power was gone. And I had just returned from eye Dr. Where they dialated my eyes.

Seats and gas pedal

Gas pedal is not smooth. It you step on it lightly it does not move and give it more and it takes off with a roar. Worst throttle response in my 87 yrs. of driving. Driver's seat is never comfortable And I bought the Sport model to get all the adjustments. Have been thinking of getting aa2018 of some other make.

Haunted

So truthfully I love my car. It however has some minor issues that I've googled and seems like a lot of people experienced it to There are points in time I can turn my car completely off, get out and the radio still goes. Doors don't lock. Fun times!!!

Its a nice car

I like my Hyundai Sonata, easy to maintain, everything is at your fingertips but it's a bit too small for my liking so i wont be keeping it very long. The bluetooth phone system sucks, person you're speaking with wont be able to hear you well enough to have a smooth conversation so i always end up using speakerphone. I also am not a fan of the low hand rest between the front seats. It drives smooth, no problems thus far, Thank God!

Stylish and efficient

I enjoy this generation of sonata and it has been a good car. She is not the best in the snow but she can still get around. Overall quality is average. The only great thing about this car is that it has passing power for a four cylinder
