2018 VEH. PROBLEM OR DEALER PROBLEM ????

I owned a 2011 Sonata which I loved until I had a wiring problem - I was told the wiring insulation was change to a different type so I bought the 2018 Sonata - now I am not so sure - dealer or Hyundai Corp cannot get my name right materials sent from Hyundai come to Joseph Connor not MICHAEL Connor - service dept. cannot find a problem I am having with the veh, downshifting into first at about miles per hour and feels very weird not like any other car I have driven. whoever sends out coupons sent them out late

Sonata Headlights

Very comfortable and spacious. It has a quiet engine and good performance and acceleration. I get surprisingly good mileage. However, the headlights are very poor. They are not bright enough and I feel unsafe at times and need to use brights whenever possible.

Safe Car

Lane keeping and adaptive speed control are big safety features. Paint quality very good, truck space big, the computer controlled headlights a new feature for me and I do like it. Trunk opening feature is handy.

Love my car

I would recommend this vehicle. My 1st Sonata was purchesed new in 2012. I kept it for 6 years 150k miles and cried when I treated it in for a 2018. I love the size of the back seat and how it can hold 3 adults comfortably. Looks good, classy and has a nice price tag

Ride too stiff

All comments have already been made in this survey. The dealership is excellent. The sales rep is super. I've bought an Azera and two Sonata Limited for myself and an Elantra for a close friend from this dealer. Unless the ride is softened on the Sonata, this may be my last one.

I would really like to see this car or the Genesis in a convertible style in the coming future. My dream car is the Genesis Coupe hybrid in hopes that it will be coming in the near future as well. It's advertised as New York's favorite in the car show.

very nice car like the way it drove love the features and how well it was on fuel mileage and had plenty if room for the family set in and be comfortable the easy to access the vehicle controls are in the right places and the hands free is added bonus also

The only thing I dislike is the cruise control braking when another vehicle cuts in front of you. I found it quite annoying so much so I turned the cruise control of . Otherwise the car ran outstanding

Vehicle is well built a like the way it handles and performs looks would like to see the door handles light brought back and I think should consider underlighting For show purposes when park or driving.

Hyundai Sonata

I usually don't write comments on cars because I am not a serious driver and I usually don not drive by myself long distances, but in this car I have driven twice long distances by myself . The car is comfortable and spacious. There is a lot of leg room. I love my side mirrors that prevent collisions, well as my rear view camera. The gas mileage is great.

Fun car with great amenities

My 2.0 T turbo is not as powerful as my previous BMW335i, but is 3 times more car than the beamer. It is smoother, loaded with amenities that didn’t cost a fortune, and almost as powerful - enough to not having to worry about two lanes merging into one. There are 2 things that prevented it from a 5 Star: 1. The Appleplay sometimes acts sporadically when playing music, like disconnected from Appkeplay when in reverse when the volume is intentionally lowered; or just happened when playing. Not a big deal and not happening often but annoying- hope a firmware update will fix it. 2. The style is boring comparing to its peers for 2018. Other than that, a great car. BTW, I had a sonata hybrid which I traded in for this one since the troublesome Beamer. Both Hyundai are great car; and the longer than industry standard warranty period is unbeatable too!

Excellent in features

My 2018 Sontata SEL is very nice with very good features like Blue Link, Sirius FM, Bluetooth etc., But one small thing this car got an issue of leaking the vacuum hose internally. But when I went Fairfax Hyundai dealership, they fixed the issue in 3-4 days by getting the part. Overall I am happy with this car.

Great car for the value

Great car for the value I lightly brushed up against the start/stop button and the car shut off while I was driving on the road and had trouble to start it again. It scared me. I feel the button is too sensitive and should not shut off while car is in motion. But overall very happy with it.

2018 sonata

I have had 2 previous sonatas and have liked them. I lease and when it was time to get a new vehicle I hated to give it back. I have had the 2018 for about a month and haven’t experienced any problems. I was disappointed with a few things in this new one. There is no rear seat pocket on the drivers side. This is very inconvenient. I have also had the lg sky window in both previous sonatas but it was not available in this years. I miss it. The front seat doesn’t slide back as far, making it more difficult to enter and exit vehicle. The inside of the vehicle is similar to previous sonatas I would like to have a larger tech screen. The seat warmers/coolers in the rear are no longer available. They were enjoyed by my passengers and will be missed.

Great ride & inexpensive too drive.

I have always driven a luxury vehicle, but to My surprise i like this Sonata. This vehicle does have a few luxury features. Bottom line I’m the perfect person to ask as this is a new experience for me to drive a non luxury vehicle. I’m satisfied thanks HyundI.

Hyundai Sonata SEL

My new Hyundai is a beautifully designed car but has a few flaws. The wind noise is high, driver side door is misaligned, cruise control is jerky and ride quality with 3-4 passengers is bouncy-poor rear shock quality. I still love my car for its great value and design, but these poor conditions must be addressed.

I really like my sonata it is very roomy and for a 4 cylinder it will get up and cruise highway speed easily while maintaining good gas mileage and everyone that sees it loves the color (electric blue)?
