Hyundai's Rising Quality
I purchased my first Sonata in 2011. The quality was good, but there was work to do. Sonata #2 was purchased in 2013. The look, drive and gas mileage was improving. My 2018 Sonata is on a higher level and in a class by itself. The car is tighter, rides smoother and gas mileage is even better. No one guarantees gas mileage, but it is a rare experience to fill up and have an average miles per gallon of less than 32 on the previous tank. When doing interstate driving the car gets north of 37 mpg. The car provides great room for those of us who are over 6 feet tall. It is a joy to get in my car, press the pre-set seat button (after my wife has set the seat for her), back up with self-setting mirrors plus back up mirror, and get on the road with alerts when cars are coming in my blind spot to my left or right. The 2018 has captured the essence of comfort and quietness in a sleek package with incredible technology. The quality is rising. My experience tells me the best is yet to come.
