Sonata Sport 2.0T

The 2.0 turbo makes this car fun to drive, on par with a good V-6. The price and the warranty make it a great value. The quality is as good as any of my previous Honda Accords or Toyota Avalon, and the price of those cars, to get comparable engine power and convenience features is thousands more than the Sonata. I've read that the Sport is no longer available with the 2.0 turbo, so this level of performance probably won't be available for such a great price unless they bring the turbo back to the sport model.

Nice, reliable, comfortable affordable family sedan

I have driven Toyota Camry, Lexus etc. The Hyundai Sonata is a well design family sedan that offers great values and performance. I was biased against Hyundai before. I took a chance to buy a fully loaded Ultimate and I am surprised Hyundai is as good as any Camry or Accord. I am surprised and Hyundai has come a long way. We have 4 Hyundai in my family now, 2 Sonatas, Genesia G80 and Hyundai Veloster. I may buy a Santa Fe for my daughter. But my next car will be the Chervolet Corvette Z51 C8 2020.

This is my third Hyundai vehicle. It is the evidence that I am happy with the car's reliability, excellent performance, and mechanical soundness, Except for trading to upgrade the vehicles, I have had zero problem with my Hyundai Sonatas! I am a happy customer!!

It’s a nice car. It drives nice. Gets pretty good gas mileage. Lots of leg room in the front and the back.mvery big trunk. Overall, it’s a good car. I have been pretty happy with it. I get a lot of compliments on it.

Love it!

I love my Sonata. It look great. my sister even commented about how cool the front looks when she was in front of me in traffic. It's my car. My last three cars were Sonatas. They're made to go the distance and look good doing it.

Sonata vs. Accord

After owning/driving three Honda Accords for a total of over 40 years and a Hyundai Sonata for 16 years, these are the two cars we looked at closely for our next new purchase. We test drove and compared other brands, but had to narrow it down to these two again. Both cars were great, but the Sonata had a great lease program that we decided to try.

Wonderful car

This car is the nicest, most comfortable car I've ever had. It drives like a dream. Bought this car to pamper myself! Heated seats, heated steering wheel. Remote start via bluetooth/cell phone. 10 year warranty, wow couldn't ask for more. The only disappointment was no availability of cd player. Call me old fashioned but I do enjoy that media, not just streaming audio.

My Purchase Was A Great Decision

I owned an earlier model year of the Sonata - 2007. It was a great vehicle and I trusted that the newest model year would be equally as good as the vehicle I was going to be trading in. My new 2018 Hyundai Sonata has not disappointed me. It has been a great automobile that I am proud to own and enjoy driving. It has a very classy, rich external appearance and a very comfortable interior and ride.

Car is great, just sometimes engine can be sluggish. The ride quality is great and love the feedback from the steering wheel. The tires can be a bit bigger on the sport models and a slight increase in horsepower

Love my Sonata

Absolutely love this car. We travel a lot for a multitude of reasons, and we have decided that this is the go to vehicle for our family of 5 to travel with. We comfortably fit 3 teenaged boys is the back seat.

Nice vehicle

Only disappointment I have is with the radio: once you set a channel- you can’t erase it - you end up with a list of stations that don’t work still on list i.e. Christmas station. Hopefully the 2020 model will have this fixed.

I owe a big thanks to my wife!

We have owned a lot of vehicles, over 60 in fact. Of that quantity, about 20 or so were purchased brand new. In 2018, we were shopping for a new mid-sized sedan. We had looked at two or three different brands and my wife suggested we look at the brand that always catches my attention as we're traveling down the highway. So, based on that enlightening ( DUH, why hadn't I figured that out?) idea we visited our local Hyundai Dealership and drove the Sonata Limited 2.0t plus. What a great car! We bought it, have driven it 15,000 miles and couldn't be happier. Now my son wants to buy it from us and we'll be purchasing a new SUV. Guess what, yep It's another Hyundai This time, it's a Santa Fe Limited 2.0t and I can't wait for it to come in as I ordered a black exterior and tan/black interior. I believe the best example I can give as to how much we like Hyundai's was to I sell mine to my son and immediately buy another Hyundai for myself. Outstanding vehicles, we luv them and they are truly a terrific value for the money.

Love, love, love...

My title says it all, I love my Hyundai Sonata Sport. I previously owned a 2012 Sonata Limited and it was the ultimate, from the turbo engine to the panoramic roof, I absolutely loved it; So,I had no doubts that, when I was ready to buy a new car, it would another Sonata. My hope was to buy another Sonata Limited; But, there wasn't one available that my desires...white with black interior, on screen navigation, and a panoramic roof. However, Hyundai had discontinued making the panoramic roof on the 2018's.. I am hoping it is available on my next Sonata purchase.In any case, after Simmons-Rockwell diligently tried to locate a Sonata Limited, with my other specifications, I went with a white Sonata Sport and it, too, is a really nice car.

Love my Sonata!

This is my second Sonata. It has all the latest safety features, which I love. I drove my last one for almost 9 years before I sold it. I hope to keep this one for a long time too. I feel the Sonata is a comfortable and safe car and a good value for the money.

2018 Hyundai Sonata Sport

The car overall is very satisfactory but there is an issue with a constant rattle in the passenger side dashboard which was serviced once and was not resolved. The car is back in for same issue and after almost 2 weeks have not been informed if the problem has been resolved.

Love my Sonata

I've had many cars over my lifetime and I have to say my 2018 Sonata is one of the all-time best! The biggest negative I can come up with is the car doesn't have a CD player! If that is the biggest negative...this car is close to perfect. Next time I will buy the all-wheel drive version - other than that - I wouldn't change a thing. Great car!

2019 Sonata

This is the 3rd Hyundai Sonata we have owned.. It seems to me the cars feel more solid in the ride and are quieter. The new features take some getting used to, but this may just be me, When the car slows down when the car in front slows down w/o any driver input it is initially kind of "spooky". Hyundai added new features but I was disappointed they have dropped the tire pressure sensors. Another simple item that has been missing on all 3 of our cars was a compass. To compensate the GPS system that runs thru your cell phone is very nice.

Since I was told metal pieces was in my oil pan and had me to get a new one which was on them in a 2018 Hyundai Sonata I’ll think twice before purchase another even though I really like Hyundai Sonata had 3 plus the one I have now

I would like to see an easier read for the instruction manual and indexing. AN AUDIO WARNING SYSTEM THAT GETS YOUR ATTENTION IN ANY DRIVE MODE OR EXPERIENCE. RAISE THE VOLUME OR GIVE THE OWNER THE AVAILABILITY TO RAISE SAID VOLUME.
