My New 2019 Sonata

I have been driving it for a year, lovely car, good pep for a 4 cylinder, nice amenities; gas mileage outstanding so far. Info center is above average and easy to use; would have been helpful if they would have gone over everything, how to connect, set up phone etc, but we've learned on our own. Probably not getting 100% out of it. A/C and heat are awesome and work very well. Downside: very rough riding car, especially for those riding in the back. Passenger front seat height options are awful, sits very low even at max height and hard to get out of the car; steering seems to have too much play, had them check it under warranty and says it's within normal limits.

It’s a good quality economic vehicle. The extras on the SEL make it worth the extra $$$. The tires seem cheap and therefore we experience road noise and sometimes a bumpy ride. For the cost of the vehicle, it should have at least been equipped with computer navigation.

Nice car

Very nice ride. Lots of back seat room and large trunk. I wish it had the valet lock for the trunk. I would recommend it to anyone. Great gas mileage and lots of features on the screen and steering wheel.

Sonata 2019

2019 Sonata - Overall very good styling. But rear could have a bit better sporty styling for the class of vehicle. Hoping that that the 2 issues ( parking brake, and stumble of revs from a stop and start ) Feel that this survey is far too long with repeat questioning. Not sure who evaluated a 10 minute only survey was evaluated.

Nice car like the style

Like the body style, especially the front grill, (should have kept it got the 2020 model). a little bit sluggish when starting off, it seems like I'm the transmission is shifting into a higher gear to soon, course I could always use the sport option, but don't want to waste gas. quite a bit of road noise, overall comfortable car to drive

GPS

The only complaint I have about my vehicle, is the GPS!. It keeps going off!. I have to keep unplugging (while I'm driving) and re-plugging! It's VERY dangerous AND frustrating! I've brought it to the attention of the service department and was told it was my phone and to get my PHONE checked, which I did. The GPS STILL doesn't work properly! I can NEVER go ANYWHERE, using it and have confidence that it won't shut off before I reach my destination. I've had to pull over some times to get it re-mapped and re-plugged!. This is really an issue, which doesn't seem to have a resolution.

this car has great gas mileage

happy with gas mileage. unhappy with engine whinning noise. unhappy entertainment system does not have a CD player. also would have liked a compass built into car.unhappy that dealer offered so little for my 2015 sonata at first BUT then gave us what we asked. unhappy that finance person dragged the car buying expierence on for about 5 hours.

Great performer

Comfortable for long rides or about town. Leg room is outstanding. I have the turbo and panoramic roof which are great performers. Can get the convertible feel with a bit more comfort. All the bells and whistles make it worthwhile especially since so many come standard. Engines for Life offered by my dealership sweetens the pot since these are rated to be long enduring.

Great car, terrible experience. Unless you like being lied to.

Love the car but hated the experience. Never had a so called professional lie directly to my face. Mr Falk, finance manger was a lying, rude pompous ass. I would never go to Newnan, GA Hyundai again.

Some what affordable.

It wasn't really the vehicle we wanted, but leased as that was affordable for us. Not sure if leasing again is right. As it limits on the mileage, places to go. And how the vehicle has to look for returning the lease.

I appreciate all that Hyundai do to stay informed when a customer purchase a vehicle from their dealership. That's the main reason I will at this time continue to purchase a Hyundai "Stay Connected" when surveys are always sent out to the customer.

2019 Sonata Sport

Overall the car does what I need it to. I am happy with the fuel millage that it gets currently, hopefully it doesn't change. While the car is certainly not something I anticipate doing everyday, I do enjoy driving it for the most part. I wish the sound system would have been better as I had to add a small sub woofer just so that music sounded correct.

Sonata sport

Sonata sport great features nice ride, lots of room Sun roof is very nice, quite ride. Not the fastest car but plenty of acceleration. Good gas mileage , paint holds up very well no chips after first year.

Enjoyable car

We had some initial quality issues but they were all eventually resolved. Although there were some initial problems, Terry Lee did a good job resolving them. We enjoy this car. Now I’m just trying to come up with the two hundred characters minimum.

Great vehicle....very similar to Honda Civic but better

If you want a dependable, sporty, fast well designed vehicle then the Sonata is the vehicle for you. I purchased mine due to a job I was taking and needed a defendable vehicle I could drive regionally for customer visits

It is a good car

It is a great car, but it is not fuel efficient. I am happy with it, but the quality of the staff, in Coconut Creek, FL, where I bought it is really low. I will not go back to that place again. Unfortunately, the employees there are just nice until you sign the deal.

Love this car!

I came from owning a large Cadilliac and that famous smooth ride so when I looked to getting a smaller car I had reservations. I liked the power and comfort behind the luxury car! I was surprised that this smaller engine really delivers especially on the highway! The seats are so supportive and comfortable as well. The layout of the dash is simple and easy to use. I loved the price tag too!
