nOT BAD BUT NEEDS A FEW EXTRAS TO HELP CONSUMER SATISFACTION

I think power passenger seat is needed. Needs a little more pep, too slow pick up, Should include Homelink in this model. A similar option switch to that included in most van rear doors, a switch to auto close door. Leather seats would help.

N-line performs but also lacks

The N-line is a great performing car in terms of engine, appearance, ride quality, handling (OMG does it take corners without braking). But for a trim level upgrade such as it is it lacks in technology and convenience features. The N-line misses the mark on not offering the same features as the limited trim such as heads up display, blind view monitor, heated steering wheel, park assist, among others. The interior is comfortable but not convenient. Certain small things are missing like a charge port in the center console, an illuminated glove compartment, organizer in the center console to name a few. The wireless charging is a nice touch but in an inconvenient location. The Bose sounds is impressive, but the user interface on the navigation screen is basic and extremely slow and unresponsive at times. The driver assist features are nice but seem to need a little more fine tuning to reach their full potential. The car has the hardware for a great infotainment experience, but the software seems dated and unimpressive for the year 2021. Overall I enjoy the car very much but would love it even more if it was a Limited N-line (not currently offered) :(

Very nice but lots of QC issues.

Purchased my vehicle in June 2021, was really happy with it until the following day when I was washing and detailing my Sonata N line. Found multiple body defects on paint work and poorly aligned body panels. Apart from that it’s all good. It has a great transmission and engine.

My honest opinion

The car is beautiful, and feels great however, ran into issue my first week of purchase, care refuse to start at times. The car is currently in the dealership shop with no word of repair time. My opinion is you want a reliable car, with less issue maybe consider another make or brand dealership to buy your car from

Love the fuel economy but glitches bring the score down

Love the fuel economy and the looks. The Bluetooth connection to the phone loses connection on occassion, and once in awhile it freezes and reboots in the middle of driving. Then I got a notification today while driving that I needed to schedule an appointment with the dealership because the diagnostics detected a possible issue. Blue link said they did not know what the issue was, and if it was safe to continue driving. They connected me to the dealership, and they were closed. Disappointing to go through this less than 2400 miles into leasing a car.

Great minus entertainment system

Overall the car is great. Love the BlueLink and ability to lock my car or start it from virtually anywhere. The continuous problems with my phone connecting to the Wireless/Bluetooth can make the driving experience very frustrating.

great if you never have to go back to the dealership

This dealership does not give a crap after you sign the dotted line. I have tried for months to make an appointment for an oil change for my other brand new vehicle I purchased there (2022 Hybrid) I am also having challenges with my Blue Link app not working. When I physically went in I was shown the door and told "we can't help you" so no oil change appointment and no help with Blue Link. I will not buy from here again when they will not help me keep my new car maintenanced.

Decent car for the price

One must balance price/performance on this vehicle. For anyone who appreciates good engineering, this is not the vehicle. Too many "cheap-outs" for a Limited Edition. Also just too many engineering oversights. It's not a bad car, but it isn't great.

Get something else

Hyundai dealerships mark their cars up too much and don't know how to talk to customers. Paint has lots of surfaces scratches already and won't look good in a few years. Buy a fun hyundai like the N products. Rest of the cars aren't worth getting because they will mark up all of their cars even the cheapest models

Pretty and dysfunctional

HAVING TO PLUG MY PHONE IN TO MAKE VOICE COMMAND CALLS AND USE ANDROID AUTO IS THE DUMBEST IDEA I COULD IMAGINE. ABSOLUTELY STUPID AND RUINS THE ENTIRE OWNERSHIP EXPERIENCE WITH THE CAR. We bought two 2022 Sonata's the same day. A base model and a limited model. The base model has hands free (and plug in free) voice commands, android auto and even a wifi spot. THE BETTER MORE EXPENSIVE MODEL REQUIRES YOU TO PLUG IN YOUR PHONE TO USE VOICE COMMANDS AND ANDROID AUTO AND HAS NO WIFI. BEYOND STUPID DESIGN.

Durability

If only the durability of the car was a great as the styling and features. Apparently my back bumper was bumped, no dents but enough to unknowingly damage the radar system bracket. Hyundai basically said too bad, you're problem, $1900 please. I'm not fixing it because there are 2 more years on the lease and the bumpers aren't tough enough to protect the system that is built into them. I have had 5 Hyundais and the attitude and lack of goodwill has completely turned me away from any future purchase

Wheel bearing failure, cute

Wheel bearings don’t fail this early on. Then you want me to bring the car in several times for it’s repair PLUS make me pay for a ride back to the dealership after you finally fix it?!? Super inconvenient and unbelievable.
