One Amazing Sedan

I've done the V8 muscle cars, the German hot hatchbacks, had SUVs and trucks. I will say the refinement, the luxury, the feel and technology is outstanding. My Sonata hits every button whereas before I always had something missing. For a 1.6 liter engine, it's got the giddy up and go where I don't feel that a highway on ramp will be the slow crawl that it can be in some vehicles. The smoothness of the 7 speed glides you through the gears and gets you up to speed in a quick fashion. The technology, oh man, the technology. The car practically drives itself. All the safety features as well are incredible. Talking about the interior it is comfortable and luxurious. You feel like you are in command of a space ship with how they designed the layout. It's one incredible car.

Good Value in a main stream sedan

The Sonata is a good choice for a stylish, value buy in the sedan category. Loaded with features and competitively priced Recommend the SEL upgrade since it provides many enhanced features and equipment for not much more money. Dealer inventory is somewhat sparse so you may have to order and wait for the convenience and other upgrades that you may want such as a sunroof etc.. Hyundai has too many vehicles to sort out so they can't keep an extensive inventory with all colors and option package levels. The car would be perfect with a turbo for the 2.5 liter engine putting out close to 300 horse pressures; and a nice 6-speed manual transmission. It takes a month or so to absorb how to use all of the gee gaws and Blue-tooth, Alexa, web-enabled services--you may never figure out how this car would perform or react in any given circumstance. All in all a great ride; stylish affordable transport with Hyundai's service and reliability included at no extra charge.

The new 2021’s are great!

The new design and technology in the 2021 Hyundai Models are far beyond that if their competitors. It feels like your driving a luxury car. This was also the easiest experience we’ve ever had buying a new car. I would definitely recommend buying a new Hyundai!

2021 Hyundai Sonata

I purchased my new vehicle 2021 Hyundai Sonata in November 2020 so I've only been driving it a couple of months. So far the vehicle has more options than I thought I would ever need but I've been able to program them and use them with ease. If I have any questions, the representatives at Darling's in Augusta are always able to help me when I ask questions either by telephone or when I'm in there. The manual that came with the vehicle is very clear on many of the new options so far. I was given a very thorough explanation when I purchased the vehicle but I couldn't remember everything after I left so if I have any questions I usually look things up in the manual or give a quick call to the dealership. I've enjoyed experimenting with the cluster display and seeing what all the extras are on this vehicle.

Love the new style,interior had the engine option I was looking for.Wireless android auto is miles better than blue link.Looks and drives and has features of a German luxury car. Love having to not take my keys outta my pocket to enter the car,open the trunk,push button transmission takes some getting used to. Overall I live the car!

Best car yet

I was going to wait for the 2022 cars to come out but decided to take a 2021 Sonata for a test drive. The styling was great, the gas mileage was impressive and there were no rattles.The ride was smooth. It felt like driving a luxury car.

Sonata SEL.

We came in looking for another Tucson. After checking out the Sonata we were blown away at the price, The car practically sold itself. This is our 2nd new Hyundai. We will buy others in the future. Lean, mean, driving machine.

The Sonata has the look and performance of a more expensive car. The design is sleek, and sporty. The interior is classy and very comfortable. The performance on the open road is smooth, and compares well with a luxury car. I LOVE this car.

Best car ever

This car is the best car in every way. Nothing negative.features even a $70,000 car couldn't touch. Hard to believe this can be done for this price. Am enjoying it more each day and can't wait to drive it each morning.

4 small but annoying problems

There are just small things that are easy to overlook when purchasing the car, but are ongoing annoyances. Some of them can be updated with software updates. 1. Using CarPlay, I cannot switch from Sirius to CarPlay to use Maps and still listen to Sirius. When you select CarPlay the audio switches over even when all you want to do is use a non-audio app. Our other car (Chevy) accomplishes this fluidly. 2. The garage door openers only work when the car is running. Most of the time, we have to start up the car just to open the garage door. Switch the button to require the key fob inside the car for it to work. 3. There is no trunk pull, to pull the trunk lid down. For someone that polishes the car quite often, putting fingerprints on the car just to close the trunk seems a bit wrong. 4. There needs to be auto-lock. When the car is shut off, the car should auto lock after 10 seconds of inactivity. If we can receive a blue link notification that the car is unlocked, there should be some setting to enable auto locking.

Back to Sonata

Had several Sonatas from early this century. Bought a Genesis in 2015. It's a great car but a lot more than I need. Had 48000 miles and felt the resale was maxed. The 2021 Sonatas are beautiful, so I went shopping. Took about an hour and I was hooked. It is one fantastic car and really reasonable. That was 2 months ago and I am one happy owner!

Awesome vehicle

Great car at a great price. Lots of interior room and one of the few cars where I don’t bang my head getting in the car. This is our 3rd sonata and we are never disappointed. Will definitely buy again.

Awesome car

Excellent built vehicle with an abundance of safety and tech features for a car in this price range. Awesome interior and exterior with nice wheels also. I feel its every bit as good as my cadillac i traded in but at a much lower price than a cadillac.

Love this car!

Love this car! Great style inside and out. Features standard are exceptional! Roomy interior, controls are well placed. Easy and fun to drive. Safety features that are standard are amazing, such as the lane keep assist. Hands free trunk opening has been sooo helpful! Highly recommend this car!

Best choice of cars

When my wife suggested the Sonata I was skeptical about trying a new brand. When I test drove this car I was amazed on how well it handled, all the functions it had over other vehicles. I have friends that own Hyundai vehicles, they love them and swear they are the best. Well after owning the Sonata I must say we are extremely satisfied with our selection!

Very happy with my 2021 Sonats. plus

fix the Road noise and make it a softer ride. and you will have a award winning vehicle. ya see when you go over a bump and the car bounces across the road the shock absorbers are to stiff. make it float
