Subaru maintenance

We veered on a different direction with the purchase of this vehicle. Focus was on the safety features as we predicted transport of preschool grandchildren. LOTS of features - lane control, car distance space, speed & mileage indicators. Down-sided from a larger SUV. Lost some trunk storage and weight of vehicle, but OK. Feel safe in vehicle with GREAT mileage. Will hold us for a while!!

Dancing with Deer

Love the Forrester we bought the base model new in 17 On a trip home from Kansas at night we encountered a deer in our path. It took some hard breaking and steering to avoid colliding. Everything in the car was rearranged and my heart rate was thru the roof I was happy I was in the Subaru and not my truck

Run Forester Run

I really do like the SUV ... roomy enough for the two of us - although, if you are over 250 pounds, he front seats might be a little " snug " ... rides good, a little noisy on the highway ... and yes, I would get another Forester

Could be happier

Overall I like my Forrester if I could only count on it starting. Maybe the problem has be fixed, time will tell. I am short and it is a vehicle that I can adjust the seat to reach the pedals with ease and see over the steering wheel. However the speedometer is partially hidden from my view by the steering wheel, I can tell if I am going under 35 or over 80 but can not see the speed in between, Not very useful.

Great, basic Subaru Forester 2017

I'm so happy I purchased this car. It's a smooth ride. I sit a little higher in this car than my Honda, and a little lower than a full SUV. It's perfect for me. I studied for A LONG TIME to find the best option for driving in snow and ice, and that is reliable for a long time --Subaru Forester is it. I bought mine used with 29k miles so that made it really affordable for me.

Reliable SUV

Subaru Forester 2.0L turbo is a great vehicle for all seasons. Engine has performed great for 66000 miles...no oil consumption or other problems. Ride is a bit stiff, but can be improved with good tires...noise is reduced drastically and ride on highway is smoother. Gas mileage is mid to high twenties, but improves on the highway. AC has needed recharging twice since purchase...each time charged, no leaks found

I love my forester.

I love the safety features and the smooth ride. I have not had a single issue with my car. I have a several friends who own subar is and they love them too. I hope to keep my Subaru for at until it is at least 12 years old.

Mechanic checked over the car I intended to buy to make sure it was all it was purported to be.

I've been dealing with Welsh Automotive (previously Wiley's Auto Service) for many years. They are the best. Always zeroing in on any problems, alerting me to potential problems, fixing all that needed fixing and doing so efficiently and promptly. They kept my previous car on the road for 132,000 miles. It ran like a charm. Now they have given me a "go-ahead" on the car I plan to buy after going over it thoroughly. I continue to rely on Welsh Automotive for their honesty, expertise, efficiency, and a very pleasant place to do business. You should try Welsh Automotive.

SUBARU FORESTER

The only manufacturer I’ll ever do business with ever again is Subaru. I wish they would bring back the Baja but I’m happy with my Forester. My husband wants a Baja. The car performs anything I’ve ever asked it to do with excellence, and I ask some pretty steep and rocky things of it! Even though it’s all wheel drive all the time, a tight turn won’t cause the steering wheel to jerk like other 4x4 vehicles. Comfort is A-1, fuel mileage surpassed EPA estimates. Everything is better than I expected - and this is my 3rd Subaru!!

May be the best vehicle I've owned in a lifetime

Great car for older people with limited mobility. Doors open wide, heating system is great, driving aids such as beeps and side mirror visual markers make driving easier as one's neck gets stiffer and harder to check for blind spot vehicles. MPG of gas is good for a SUV, if not spectacular. Rear view camera works well as long as it is kept clean.

Subaru exterior

Very desirable design, but car exterior paint is not good quality. The tires, brand name Yokohama, are not well made. 6 months after I purchased Subaru Forester, I replaced one tire, and I repaired another tire. Now 2&1/2 years later the car battery was dead, so had to replace it. I hope that my Subaru does not give me many problems in the future.

Good Car

On my third year with the 2017 Subaru Forester. It has been a good car - my third Subaru. Drives nice has great paint finish and love the safety features. Only on small issue. The motorized lift gate seems to have a mind of its own. Works 80 - 90% of the time but the other 10% it seems like it is going to open but just stops. Repeated presses of the release but has no affect. This only happens when releasing from the outside. The inside release always works as expected?
