Heavy hand of environmental activism present in the car's features.

The system than turns off the engine at stop lights is a real annoyance. I want the heater getting up to temperature when it is cold and the air conditioning running when it is hot. It has to add a lot of stress to the starting mechanism and starting fuel injection vs. how little environmental damage done by idling. The default should be to turn this on, not off.

My last Forester

I’ve had five Subaru Foresters but this will be my last. There are just too many buttons, abbreviations, flashing distractions/messages. Can’t even see 8 buttons lower left that aren’t lit in daylight. RAB is the worst !

2020 Forester

This is our second Forester and our third Subaru. We just had the first service at 6,000 miles and expect it to be as reliable as our former 2010 Forester. We had about 180,00 miles on the 2010 Forester when we gave it to our granddaughter as a graduation present. Both have been excellent vehicles that are both safe and reliable. They are easy to access and provide an excellent view of the road. We are very pleased with the Forester.

2nd Forester

When I started looking for a replacement for my larger SUV, to be honest, Subaru was not one I had considered. A family member suggested I take a look. After test driving, I was sold.. My first was a 2017, base model. It handled our PNW weather like a champ! My second Forester has eyesight and some other features that are terrific. I feel safe and confident with my family in the car and will 100% buy another one.

Long time Subaru fan but that new feature That puts the car in neutral when you stop At a light is annoying and DANGEROUS . As a was at a light on a slight hill.. I started Rolling backwards because I was out into Neutral .... I bumped into the guy behind me Softly but this is NOT a helpful new feature. . I want to register the complaint . Love our 2020 Forester

We have put less miles on it than we would have in a normal year because of staying home more during pandemic. We love this car. Enjoying all the excellent safety features and it drives great. We haven't taken a lot of long drives, but on one of our longer drives it registered mileage above what was stated so we were really pleased about that.

2020 forester

Too gagetity. Hate the start/stop on the starter. It needs a turbo the 4cylinder doesnt do it justice. It responds in a awesome way but it wants to drive for you. Very nice options for price...looks really sharp...getting the upgraded sound system totally worth it. Stick shift option would have been nice too....a real one.
