Eight Years of Happy

It is almost silly how much I love my car! It is the only vehicle that we have ever purchased brand new because it is very hard to find used Priuses -- or at least it was at the time. I had thought that I wanted a mazda hatchback but my husband wasn't convinced so suggested we try Toyota first. The Prius had interested me so we test drove one and I was very impressed. In fact, we test drove the Mazda right after that and I instantly headed back to Toyota to make my purchase. This car is comfortable, so roomy for a small car. I love how much room is in the back for Costco runs, travelling, even furniture purchases, and bikes. The digital speedometer was one of my favorite features from my first test drive and I still love it. As I have gotten older and more and more near-sighted, I appreciate the always easy to read numbers. The gas mileage has been wonderful, close to 50 in the summer and around 40 in the winter. We live in a hilly area or I know we would get better than that.

Best car ever!!!

I absolutely love my Toyota Prius. In the 8 years that I have owned it, the most maintenance required has been oil changes, tune-ups and new tires. Toyota quality is apparent in all aspects of the car, especially its reliability, and I am still getting decent gas mileage after all these years. Highly recommend!

2007 Toyota Prius

I love my new Prius. We are getting well acquainted :) It's fun to drive and I enjoy the mileage I'm getting out of a tank of gas.

IT DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER THAN THIS!

In March of 2007 a friend stopped by as I was outside working on my rose garden to invite me to a local community building meeting the upcoming Wednesday evening. His car sparkled... I was stunned at what a beautiful car he had... I said, "Sure, I'll go the meeting, but talk about your car, instead!" He had just purchased his new 2007 Prius and was effervescent about it! The car itself 'sold' me, and he simply reinforced all that I saw... The next day a good friend and I went into Salem right to Capitol Toyota (now on the Parkway) and after 30 or so minutes, I picked out the red 2007 Prius, pictured above. That was going on 8 years ago and I'm STILL that happy with the car and the excellent service at Capitol Toyota in Salem, Oregon!

Great car!!

I can't say enough about my Toyota Prius. I have 187,000 miles on it and it runs great!! I expect to get to 200K! I will trade this one in for another when I'm done with it.

Great purchase

Our 2007 has been maintenance free. 1 set of tires is all we've had to replace in 8 years with over 100,000 miles.. Regular oil changes and filters are the only expenses we have had. Getting 45-50 miles per gallon too!

EIGHT YEARS OF DRIVING MY PHENOMENAL CAR AND IT'S STILL GOING STRONG!

It's a delight to review a Prius! I have never owned a car that I value so much as I do my Prius! (And I've probably owned a minimum of 15 - 20 cars/pickups/SUV's over the last 50 years.) Of course, in addition to a great car, and in my estimation, equally important, ~~~ there is the exemplary dealership, where it was purchased in 2007. --- Capitol Toyota of Salem. (Oregon) I appreciate both, so much! My only wish is that I had a new Highlander, as well! I just drove a 2015 for three days and am also sold on it! Capitol Toyota and the cars they sell are simply the BEST in the Northwest! It doesn't get ANY BETTER! Specifically, I love the dependability, outstanding fuel efficiency, solid feeling on the road, spacious interior, sporty lines, and how well the car performs in town and on the highway. Why would anyone want anything different???

My Toyota 2007 Prius

This car has been fantastic! I love my Prius! It has carried two 50 gallons barrels in it, it has carried my 100 lb golden retriever and my 60 lb black lab in it comfortably. It has consistently been a reliable car and great gas mileage. We have put 220,000 miles on it and it is running great. I only wish they would make an all wheel drive version! Great work Toyota on the Prius!!

Contagious ~~~ In a VERY GOOD WAY!

In March of 2007 a friend stopped by in his new car to chat with me while I was outside gardening. He invited me to a community meeting. I said... "Sure, I'll go to the meeting, now tell me about your new car!" He was so excited about his new Prius and beamed with enthusiasm. WITH REASON. The next day I called a friend and we went to look at the new 2007 Prius on display at Capitol Toyota in Salem. That was it for me! I bought it and am so glad that I did! I shared my enthusiasm with friends and colleagues and now have 8 or 9 people in my private and professional circles who have purchased their own Prius. I am as enthusiastic today about both the car and the dealership as I was in 2007.

Best car I've ever owned

it's comfortable, and super reliable - that's what i look for in a car - to say nothing about the low pollution, great gas mileage (47mpg even after 9 years) and virtually no maintenance other than a mechanical water pump at 90K. I'm at 154,000 and hope it runs forever - or until i win the lottery and can afford a Tesla!

Top of the Top!

Having acquired MANY vehicles over the years, new and used, --- several makes and models, including 4 SUV's, several pickups --- I am absolutely pleased, proud, as well as practical in regard to my purchase of a Prius! Great fuel economy that has continued on now, for 9 years! The purchase and all of the routine service work provided at Capitol has convinced me that I simply have the BEST from the BEST! Fun to drive, and full of 'extras' that simply are normal features and part of the package!

Great car. Love it. When is convertible style coming out?

It has pick up and go so not sure why I hear so many stories about it unable to go up steep inclines fast enough(?). This car is great for traveling great distances and for so cheap on gasoline.

Excellent vehicle

Bought new in 2007 and no major problems. Minor problems: *The original tires came with no warranty and didn't last 20k miles. The switch for radio on the dash works intermittently, but the switch on steering wheel works consistently, so no reason to spend money to fix it. That's it. It's very comfortable on long trips. Gets great mileage and the newest ones get even better mileage.

My preius

I love this car. It is built like a tank. I cant tell u how many parking lot curbed I have run over and no damage underneath. I have almost 150,000 miles and works like a charm. I still get 42 miles per gal in town and about 45 on the road. I really want a new preius with the solar roof and all the new electronics I feel if you raise the view of the front of the hood will help prevent parking problems I.e. I am 5'2. The seat by the way is super. But when I drive I cannot see past the windshield wipers. Because of the slope of the front end u can't tell how close u r in the parking space and turning around isles is hard to c how far those parking curves r.

QUALITY CAR FROM A QUALITY COMPANY ~~~ 2007 LIKE NEW IN 2016! PRIUS FROM CAPITOL TOYOTA OF SALEM, OREGON

Imagine having a car for 9 years and still being as pleased with it as you were when you drove it home from the lot! That's EXACTLY what it's like owning my 2007 Prius. Yes, of course it STARTS with a quality product. But in order to maintain that quality, it's imperative that a QUALITY dealership be involved every step of the way throughout ownership. Capitol Toyota of Salem has done just that with my "still seems like new" 2007 Prius. I just sent in this feedback '5 STAR' rating to them: My title was in the form of a question: "How can ANY business be so consistently WONDERFUL???" After my five star rating, I wrote: "I know the answer is by providing quality service, ~~~ be it by the staff who assist with service check-in, to those who do the servicing, to those who wash and vacuum the car, to those who do cashiering, to the salesmen who stop by for a friendly chat, to those who provide the water bowl/biscuits for customers with dogs, to the refreshment bar provided for those in waiting, to the sparkling decor of the well appointed waiting room. I call bringing in my Prius to a place that I refer to with others as "Capitol Toyota --- MY MORNING AT 'THE SPA!'
