Re- scoring after getting contacted by George Secoff
I am giving George and Hyundai a re-score because I was contacted the day I posted my previous experience with the services on Feb 11, 2022. I appreciate that he took time to contact me and ensured me that this will not happen again. I was honored a detail for this unfortunate chain of events, but over all my main reason for posting my previous comment was to raise awareness and accountability. With that said, I look forward to giving Puente Hills Hyundai another opportunity in the future.

Poor service
The advisor I was given, George Secoff, made assumptions as to what I qualified for. First, without looking at intake info( mileage,etc). Secondly, he didn’t even bother looking up my vehicle info regarding my warranty coverage. Returned car incomplete. Basic service of topping fluids, even after I specified I needed windshield fluids topped. I had to go in the next day to get finalized.

Jay has great customer service but not happy with the technicians
Jay is great and he helped a lot. Just not happy that y’all can’t find out why my tire keeps leaking air.

Matt and his father in-law from the service department are the only honest/genuine people on the floor.
After purchasing/leasing a brand new 2013 Genesis, it turned out to be a lemon under the California lemon law. While going through the purchase process, I was treated like a "friend". As soon as the vehicle was brought in because of the issue that made it a lemon, I began getting treated like a mishap. If it wasn't for Matt in service, I probably would have consulted a lawyer to find out my rights as a consumer. I was sold a lemon, and was treated as though it was my fault.

All talk
The Service Techs are all talk. They act all nice and sweet talk everyone. However , they really don't do all they promise. I don't care for all that. I just want good service and promptness.

Not sure why this customer is unhappy. Simply came in for a recall. We performed the recall and customer retrieved his vehicle. Would like to understand why he is not happy.

Service experience
The only thing I had to comment in was the External Car wash, job done was messy, I had to wipe off the dirts myself as is still dripping water with dust when car is ready.

starting to have doubts
I am starting to have doubts about the quality of the 2013 Equuss I purchased new. Parts are failing at 35K miles which I feel shouldn't be failing. That said, not the service departments fault. I doubt I will buy another Hyundai product.

Great Service
Jae Lee is the best. Not only does he take care of my cars I think he does above and beyond the requirements. It’s a great experience every time I come to get my cars serviced, he goes the whole nine yards to make sure everything goes smoothly and on top of that he’s a great guy. I never had a bad experience coming there. Great Job

Great service experience!
My car failed a smog check (engine light) so i took it in to get checked.Had a misfire in the 3rd cylinder and it was covered by Hyundai 100 mile 10 year warranty.Car was repaired in 2 weeks and a loaner was provided free of charge. Was very happy with the service i received from Javier Esquivel. Car runs great and passed the smog check now. Very pleased with the service i received from Puente Hills Hyundai.
