Woodhouse Purchase of Baxter's Hyundai Dealership
The dealership purchase was not complete from a customer perspective. I purchased a Hyundai Sonata Limited and a plan that provides free oil changes, service, maintenance, repairs, and warranty work for a significant number of miles. Currently, my free service and maintenance still resides with Baxter Subaru (who initially turned me away for my 1-year service and sent me to Woodhouse) and my warranty work resides with Woodhouse (who tried to charge me for free service). I would think that Hyundai Corporation would not be happy with the terms of Woodhouse's purchase of Baxter because it alienated repeat customers by addressing only the purchase of new cars and not the contracts that existed for previously purchased vehicles. This arrangement is not what I paid for--total and worry-free care care. This issue should be addressed at the ownership level of both companies, not with sales or service, because it appears that the Woodhouse-Baxter transition leave some items unaddressed that deal with customer satisfaction relative to both dealerships.

Excellent service
Performed an oil change and rear brake job. Diagnosis of the cause of the check-engine light took longer than anyone expected as the system generated an unusual code that took some research to figure out. Had to leave the car with them overnight but the provided me with a nice loaner car at no extra charge. The only downside was that I found out that this dealership location, which is right by my office, is only temporary (18 months). Sad that there won't be a dealership/service center nearby when they move.

My continued experience with Josh Ridpath at Woodhouse Hyundai is always over the top. Josh is knowledgeable, caring, and concerned about the needs of his customers and their Hyundai. Out of many years of service with other dealers, I have found no "dread" while waiting on my vehicle at Woodhouse because I know that Josh is taking excellence care of me and my vehicle. Thank you Josh!!!! There is never a degree of being hesitant regarding Woodhouse and the service department at Hyundai.......they are the best!
