Love love love my car

I love my ford, plain on buying a newer one soon, my dad bought it brand new, he passed away and I bought the car from my step mom, I’ve had it 5 years and love it, drove it here to Oregon from Florida 6 months ago

FORD didn’t honor Recall Items

I love my car and want to keep it, but there is a safety recall 14S05 on the power steering and now that the power steering won’t work, they won’t pay for the repair. I have to pay for it myself at a cost of $1500

My 2009 Ford Escape

I enjoy driving my Ford Escape very much. I am 91 years old & it will most likely be my last car so I'll treasure every time I can get behind the wheel & "GO". I have not had any problems with it & the car has been very dependable. Only dislike is trying to read the dashboard during the day. It's almost impossible to tell the time or temp.

An okay car

In all honestly, I love my car. I love the way it drives and looks. Handles great in snow. But I've had alot go out on it. Luckily not under the hood, but other stuff. My hatch suddenly won't open. My middle seatbelt jammed and had to be cut. My back door sometimes doesn't want to shut. My shift stick doesn't light up anymore. And my heater sometimes just won't turn on. OTHER than that, i love my car.

LOVE MY ESCAPE!

I absolutely love my Ford Escape. It is the second Escape I have owned and loved! It is a reliable car that I have put a ton of miles on with two toddlers and always feel safe. I love that it is stylish and sporty yet still allows plenty of room for my children's needs on long car trips. I am a Ford for life customer. I even convinced my sister to buy an Escape this past year and she loves hers too.

Love it!

Love my Ford Escape. Had some problems early on, but Ford fixed it & I could not be happier. Wish I could keep on driving it, but know I will have to trade when the miles get to be too high. Would recommend it to a friend.

great small suv

perfect for someone with dogs or a small family. good on gas, all wheel drive gives great traction in the snow. back seats lay completely flat so great for moving larger items. very smooth ride, not bumpy at all like my last SUV.

ford escape

great for the miles and trunk space. We got the most basic to fit our needs to travel with our two large dogs, a female Rotty and a male Doberman. The back seating is spacious. One odd thing, the back seat rubber cord which acts as a barrier for the door to close quickly broke from the attachments. I thought about cutting it off but if I ever move back to a cold state with snow in the winter or lots of rain, I would need that to protect the inside of the car. Ford said this happens quite often. I asked to have it replaced if possible. They said they'd call me when the part came in. I called back a couple of times to see if it came.... No response. Better to say - we don't have it or Ford can't replace it.

I love my Escape

This is my 3rd Ford and my second Escape. They are so reliable. My first Escape was with me for over 10 years. I gave it to my granddaughter when I acquired my 2009. I'm thinking of getting a new one but there is nothing wrong with my present one. Maybe next year.

2009 Escape

We have a 2009 Ford Escape hybrid and so far we have replaced a set of tires, front brakes and a few minor things. All in all this has been a great car for us and we really have not had any problems (knock on wood). Of course, we do keep up with regular maintenance of it, which I think helps a lot.

09 Escape Hybrid

This has been a great vehicle for my Wife and I. Taken a few long trips and it does great on the highway for a shorter wheelbase vehicle. Love the mpg for in town driving around. Microsoft "Sync" feature is very helpful too, nice to have handsfree when we need to make-receive phone calls, or just listen to Pandora! No issues with this SUV so far, and it's on 108k.

It grew on me, not originally the vehicle of my dreams

I got this vehicle as the result of a Cash for Clunkers program in 2008. There were a limited amount of models with the approved equipment that fit the trade matrix. This was one of them. My Escape is a 2 wheel, front drive, it has a 2.5 liter 4 cylinder gas engine, automatic transmission. The trim level is XLT with leather seating upgrades. I have purposed this vehicle secondarily as a work commuter with a nine mile country and city drive to work and amazingly the same distance home. The real purpose was to allow me to travel across four states to look after my Mother. It made that journey several times until Mom came to our home to live. The little Escape provided Mom with miles and miles of local sightseeing, a break for her, out of the house. When Mom died, the vehicle took on the "Grocery Getter" purpose as I was long retired. It is what my wife prefers to drive. She thinks it is peppy around town, has that SUV convenience for bulky items, nimble and easy to use when space gets tight. It made the EPA mileage marks most of the time and had a pretty good ride. This vehicle is too useful to us to trade. Sure I would like some of the later technology, but this will do. Its a keeper.
