Nice ride, convenient size, easy to drive, rearview camera does get bleary when it rains but still viewable, gas mileage is so/so, but not bad for a sports utility vehicle, interior amenities very nice.

Nice SUV

My first SUV. Has been really good. Was skeptical about the 4 cylinder engine but with the turbcharing it is not a problem. Actually it's pretty peppy and gets great gas mileage. Handles nice and has been trouble free so far.

Love the car but still clunking

The Escape is a 2017 model and we love the car except for still some clunking. The first Escape was even worse and the dealer gave me another brand new car. This car has been better but we still get a clunk when changing gears. The internet reflects many comments than are the same and apparently there was some design flaw in the 2017. The car is safe and we love the design, color and the way the car drives. Like living next to a train track you just get use to the clunk that occurs now and then.

DO NOTEVER GET ONE OF THE LAST VECHICLES TO COME OFF THE END OF SEASON TRUCK. AT ABOUT 500 MILES A NEW REAR END HAD TO BE INSTALLED. A LITTLE LATER I HAD TO HAVE 2 MORE INSTALLED . NOW THERE HAVE BEEN NO FURTHER PROBLEMS. ALSO I DO NOT LIKE THAT THE ENGINE TURNS OFF WHEN YOU STOP AND HAVE THE BRAKE PEDAL FULLY ENGAGED. ENINE RESTARTS AFTER TAKING FOOT OO BRAKE. THIS IS A TERRIBLE IDEA--WHAT IF THE ENGINES DOES NOT RESTART. YOU'RE STUCK.

2017 Ford escape SE all wheel drive

It has been a very reliable car with some minor problems that the dealer took care of.I am on the highway continuously and have done a hundred thousand miles on mine within 3 years and the car has been great.

It's A Good Car

Planning on keeping this car in good working order 'for the duration' - hoping it will be our last car purchase...Apparently, this 'review' won't be accepted UNTIL I ADD ENOUGH WORDS to take the character count over 200 - so that's what I just did... How absurd can you get - What I had said SHOULD Have been GOOD ENOUGH for anyone literate to KNOW we like our vehicle and believe it to be of seriously good quality - for whomever who might be interested in knowing that... So, hope 'you' are happy now... . .

Low maintenance cost

I have had zero warranty work on this vehicle except for an engine replacement but that was a known problem. Getting ready to put my third set of tires on. Obviously there is an issue, as this is excessive.

Love the vehicle

Although I liked my Edge very much the Escape is actually better for me. The smaller size makes sense and I do not feel uncomfortable. Although I have only driven 100 miles it drives very nicely.

2017 Ford Escape

Nothing really needs the be said-Ford makes a damn fine automobile. This is our third new vehicle, the other two are circa 1997 and 2001. Both are still road ready. This Escape really rocks and my wife thinks its the bomb! Controls are easy within reach and easily viewable. The ride is very comfortable, controls are easily learned and its just a good vehicle as we downsized.
