Great truck

I’ve had my Ford F-150 since 2008 and it has been a great truck, going on 190,000 miles and just made a trip from Louisiana to Colorado pulling a trailer and did great, engine me is still strong and I plan on keeping it for a while.

I LOVE my Truck!

See above and below. Recommend getting a certified used vehicle like this from a reputanle dealer. Make sure it has not been abused or wrecked and that it smells right inside and is clean. I got lucky finding this truck in this condition at Mullinax Ford Apopka and they were great!

2005 F150 super crew 4x4

I bought this truck new with 7 miles on it. It now has 143,000 miles. I have had very little trouble with it. No major breakdowns. I do believe I will get another 143,000 miles out of it. I am very happy with my F-150 and would buy another one except I might go with the Shelby F150 4x4.

A great car

My Ford 500 is a 2005 model and is my first American car. I spent 40 years in Germany and for obvious reasons I always drove German cars which are so reliable - I never had a break-down or flat tire, driving the German Autobahn every day to work. This Ford has been beyond my expectations and is the best and most reliable car I ever drove. I might add, I don't drive as much anymore since I moved back to Brownsville. In Germany I drove at least 50 miles round-trip every day to work through horrible weather (snow, ice and fog) in the winter time.. Soon it will be time to get another American car and I hope I have as much luck with the next one as I have with this car. The next one will be my last car since I'm not getting any younger!!

Keeps running

After a rocky couple of years, getting computer issues worked out on a truck that I bought specifically because it was as basic as they come. I thought nothing electronic would save me from having computer headaches. Now it runs great, and we haven’t had any issues in the last 10 years

Very satisfied with my f150

Bought new 18 years ago and have minimal repairs in that time, drove it to Colorado twice and never had any issues have only replaced tires exhaust and battery when it’s time for a new replacement it will be another F 150.

Excellent car

As I wrote before, this was my first American-made car having lived in Germany for 40 years. I never had a more reliable car than my Ford 500. Sadly, it will be time soon to part with it since it does have some old age aches and pains. It has been the best car I ever owned (that includes my cars in Germany - an Audi, a Mercedes and several VW's).

Girls love trucks too

I bought this truck new and have driven it for 20 years. I love it and will get another when the time is right. It has been dependable and reliable. My teen boys actually bought the same truck 15 years later. So it has become a family favorite.

Oldie but goodie

I've got a 2005 Ford F150 4x4 extended cab truck with 257000 miles on it. The 5.4 Triton is still a strong engine. I've had to do some repairs to the truck but she is good for another 250000 miles. Ford definitely builds a tough truck

Great full size sedan.

My current Ford Five hundred is a 2005 model. I would purchase another one if they were still being manufactured. No major repairs, just tires, oil change and battery. Great vehicle. This model saved my life. I was in an accident, hit by another car and suffered only minor injuries..

2005 Ford F150 4WD

Just big enough to use for the farm and errands. Needs a lot of room to turn because of long wheel base - I assume.

Ford F-150 overall good truck

Pleased with truck overall. Like the body style and sound while it is running. Good for towing and hauling. Has very good acceleration. Has a decent ride and easily handling. Will purchase a Ford -150 when I decent to get a newer model.

paint

clear coat coming off bad paint I hope ford has improved their paint, or I would not buy a mother ford. I have 4 fords in our family. so we are a ford family Had to put a transmission in it at 80K now rear seal is leaking.

Good old truck

Never owned a vehicle this long before.Ihave had to spend some money over the last 4 years for some worn out parts but what trucks don't have some problems after140000 miles? Barring any major problems I will drive the wheels off.

World of wheels

Powerful and looks good. Needs minor body work and radio. If possible I'd like to paint it camouflage and put an full auto 5o caliber mounted on the back. Also two giant American flags on bed rails. On the back It going to say love it or leave it.

I love my truck, but...

I love my truck. It's beautiful, spacious, and fun. But I am starting to get a ticking noise now and the cam phasers problem in this generation of f150s seems like it is starting to hit my truck now, which will mean more money. So I may be looking for something else before long.
