nice car

I like the look and handling of this car. It has held up well for the first 180k miles. Now it is getting expensive to maintain, but once I put a few K into it, I expect to drive it at least another 50k miles!

Best Car I have ever owned!!

I bought my Genesis new in March of 2009. It has never once let me down. I am in the construction business and have worked with, and for the Koreans in the past. They are relentless for perfection. They want the best and will accept nothing less. My car is a shining example of that attitude. I just love the car and cannot bring myself to trade it in on another one.......not yet but, when I do, it will be a Genesis.

I love everything about the car. I will buy a new Genesis G90 this year. I have considered other brands, however, the G90, in my opinion is the best choice; none of the other luxury vehicles can compete.

Major repairs!!!

My Genesis has had a new steering system ( one week in the shop. ) Then the heating and cooling system broke. (2 weeks in the shop). The last time for the heads to be replaced in the engine. Totally cool service and my extended warranty covered these repairs. Just a lemon I guess

Great car with all the wiz bang do das!

Really enjoying the full size luxury, performance of this 2009 North American Car of the Year. Have enjoyed it for going on eight years and it has been extremely trustworthy, fun to drive and feature filled with capabilities I didn’t know I needed. Looking forward to many more years of service and enjoyable transportation with this vehicle.

Rob - Genesis

I purchased my Hyundai Genesis in 2009, one of the first. There was an audio issue initially, where the head unit needed to be replaced. Hyundai was reticent in replacing it, but they finally agreed. Since then I have absolutely no issues. Just regular service. What a magnificent riding car, solid, comfortable, with great power. Would definitely buy one again.

Best Car and Value

I've owned my 2009 Hyundai Genesis Sedan 4.6 for a little over 6 years and have put more than 230K miles from border to border. This car has been a solid, reliable workhorse that has maintained its head turning good looks and power that will make it hard to turn away and buy another brand when it comes time to part ways. When I purchased it I turned away a Lexus LS and an Infinity G series. I was definitely enticed by the amenities for the price. The driver comfort level, rear seat space and snappy engine makes this an overall winner. This model was one of the first year versions. So, there have been some quirks. These include faulty seat/steering wheel adjustment motors as well as having to replace the break light switch and emission system valve solenoid a couple of times. All other issues have truly been wear and tear. I believe this car will take me another 100K without a problem. It still rides as comfortably with the same power it had when I first purchased it.

An excellent car! The best car I’ve ever had!

I have owned a Lexus, a Mercedes, and an Alpha Romero and I really like this car better than any of my other cars. The Hyundai service personnel are knowledgeable and caring, The car is always ready when they say it will be in the waiting room is very comfortable .

GOOD SERVICE GENERATES A GOOD RETURN

I RECEIVED A ROUTINE OIL CHANGE AND TIRE ROTATION. DURING INSPECTION IT WAS NOTICE THAT THE ENGINE FILTER NEEDED REPLACING BECAUSE WAS IT VERY DIRTY. THE SOILED FILTER WAS REPLACED WITH EXPLANATION OF THE SERVICES ALL SERVICES PROVIDED.THE COURTESY WASH WAS APPRECIATED .

GREAT car !

My husband bought this car in 09. There have been absolutely no problems.........His research led him to this car, in looking for a car with "no" or little maintenance. I'm glad he did.I just do normal maintenance and I feel safe to get in the car and so what I " got to do !"

Love

I absolutely love my Genesis.. I will never get any other car.. The dependability and how well it is put together are 2nd to none.. I have an 09 and havent needed any kind of repairs past new tires and routine maintenance.. It is a smooth drive, comfortable seats and all around amazing car.

Best luxury sedan ever!!!!!

This car surpasses all other luxury car brands! I say this because of the price and all you get with this vehicle. The design looks like others but the car performs above them all. Resale value is great also!

Been So Good To Me

In August 2018 my Genesis will be 10 years olds with over 200,000 driven miles. I kept up with the maintenance over the years and only had a serious problem once. Running on 87 octane gasoline has not been a problem for I get good mileage and the car has plenty of get up and go! I would have loved to have had all wheel drive when I first purchased the automobile but that was not an option at the time. Overall I have enjoyed driving and owning this vehicle.

Reliable vehicle.

This is a great car with impressive reliability and comfort. I would recommend the genesis to anyone looking for a nice luxury vehicle without the luxury expense. Haven't had any issues with the car as opposed to owning Hondas in the past where I've had issues with the cars.

Love my Hyundai

Would buy a newer model of same vehicle if I were in the market but after 140,000 miles still runs well and looks Great. Low maintenance costs. May consider new paint job but original paint still look wonderful.

Love my Genesis

My car is getting older but has low mileage. It has taken this long to get familiar with all the bells and whistles on it and still have a lot to learn. I love the memory for the seats. I am short and it's so nice to get in car and hit a button for my seat setting. Like the way my car rides. People stop in parking lots to look at the car and admire it still after it is this old. So sorry guys that keep wanting to buy my car. I'm not ready to give it up yet.

2009 Genesis 3.8L

Vehicle has been extremely reliable except for some minor electronic problems (seat, adjustable streering wheel). All problems were corrected by Bowser service department.

I have my car serviced at Salem Hyundai because the staff are very pleasant and welcoming at the check-in desk. They take the time to answer my questions. The mechanics are knowledgeable in servicing my Genesis. Also, it's easy to get to their location!.
