Anyone that wants to drive the best automobile on the market ought to just try a Genesis. Drives, rides and out performs any vehicle I have ever owned. One test drive and you will always drive a Genesis.

Luxury car for thousands less

nicest luxury car I've ever owned. Lots of tech and safety features. Quiet and smooth ride. Lovely aspirated v6 engine that has enough pick up when needed. Extremely comfortable seating also. And I'm a retired Ford employee also who transitioned to a Genesis and I'm glad I did. This is my 1st non Ford product.

Our Baby Bently Act 2

The Ultimate version is a great value; the ride is fabulous; handling very fluid, the color Parisian Grey is a gift ( Blue in the day; bluish grey evening). Rear seat comfort is always complemented - no jostling; Every once in a while someone will come over to me at the gas station to ask; "what make is this car?" That's why I call it "My baby Bentley".

2015 Genesis

We bought this car used (about 32,000 miles). My wife & I are picky about our cars & we tend to keep them along time. We’d been looking for a replacement for our old Hondas. Just couldn’t accept the new Honda’s-our old 2002 Accord was peppier! We wanted all the safety features of the new Sonata but the price was more than we wanted to pay. After working with our salesman, Perry, for more than 3 hours, we walked away. Driving home we get a call from him suggesting this loaded, certified “pre-owned” Genesis. Went back, test drove it and was sold as he took us out the driveway. We’re still in love with it.

A good car but it has some issues.

My 2015 Genesis overall is a very nice car. It is smooth, quiet, very comfortable and when you step on the gas it goes. On a trip down to Texas recently I averaged between 28 to 30 MPG. The issues I have with it are with the driver assistance packages. The parking assist sometimes flakes out giving me front obstacle warnings when I pull up behind a car in traffic when I'm between 5 to 10 feet away from its rear bumper. Then there is the blind spot indicator in the side mirror that gets stuck on for several minutes with no traffic any where around. This usually only happens on a trip of several hours or more. Lastly there is the adaptive cruise control. Sometimes it is necessary to override it when passing a slower car but once you've passed the car and attempt to teturn to the set speed by slowly lifting your foot off the accelerator the cruise control will fight you for control of the speed. In my opinion the cruise control should stay in the background as long as the accelerator is depressed. So far I have had no problem with the rear cross traffic sensor which I find really helpful. One last this is that the menus could be arranged a bit more logically and more engine data should be included and the trip computer timer should go down to the seconds.

All around great vehicle

We have a Genesis 3.8l sedan. It is undoubtedly the best vehicle I have ever owned. I am of an age that comfort and reliability are paramount concerns; great fuel economy and a super quiet cabin (conversation at normal voice levels) are added benefits. The Genesis excels in all these areas. Although i consider myself a conservative driver, on the occasions that i require responsive performance, my Genesis answers the call. Add a superb sound system and the Genesis is pretty much a living room on wheels but with the response and handling characteristics i find reassuring. I cannot see myself seriously considering a different vehicle.

2015 Genesis

I bought my Genesis in Jan. 2016. I traded in a 2014 Jaguar XJL with only 27,000 miles. I have owned Jaguars since the early 1990's and enjoyed driving them however, after a friend invited me to drive his new Genesis I was so impressed that I bought one, an 8 cylinder, 50. I do believe it's the best car I ever owned.;

Love my Genesis

Regular gas; regular oil changes; runs like new; I have 90,000 plus miles! Bought it brand new in 2015. Love the quality of the vehicle. I have purchased Lexus, BMW, & Infiniti. In my experiences, This vehicle is comparable to each of them and has better/affordable service & maintenance intervals.

Best car on the Market for the Price

I tried many cars before I bought my Genesis, it was the best car for the money. I wish they would allow the Hyundai dealers to still sell Genesis. Many of the small towns can't afford to put up a couple million to just sell Genesis. Hopefully they will realize that if every dealership sold just 20 Genesis, the number would be greater than having just a few chosen dealerships. I see the G70 is selling OK, but the G89, G90 and G80 sport are not posting the numbers. Hope the Executives see this and allow places like Miller Auto Group go back to selling Genesis. South Korea dropped the ball on this one. People are now going to competitors to buy a car. (BMW, Lexus, etc) Hopefully they some some math people in upper management that will realize they made a tactical error.

We love our Genny

We love our 2015 Genesis. She's got the room, the horsepower and the sporty look that I like. Even though she's considered a luxury automobile, I think ?? She's got everything you could possibly want in and a vehicle. I like her body style so much more than the new ones. So we pamper her like crazy. She has under 17,000 miles and we've had her since Christmas Eve of 2016. She's never dirty inside or out for long!!!

A very reliable vehicle

I have alway purchased brand new cars for the past 50 years, this the the only car that I kept for five years and I will keep it for another five years. Since I had this car I never took it to the dealer for warranty work, it is an amazing car and I would not change it with any car.

Amazing vehicle

A prestigious piece of machinery. Just sucks to drive in the snow. Other than that I have zero complaints. Definitely a great reliable car and turns heads like no other. One of my favorite features is the Genesis emblem light that illuminates from the side mirrors when it is dark enough. Has alot of speed for a sedan. Excellent engineering.

The smartest automobile I have ever drive.

The last car I owned was a Hyundai Sonata and I thought it was a great car until My wife and I purchased the Genesis. My wife and I love the Genesis. We are still learning some of the things the car can do for us. ( We were not given the manual for the Genesis.) My wife and I fight over who will drive it. We have just got back from a week trip through North and south Carolina and Virginia. What a enjoyable trip. what a great automobile.

2015 Genesis review

This vehicle has plenty of bells and whistles to like. I have only 2 complaints I can think of at the present. number one the trunk is too small. Only 2 or 3 sets of golf clubs will it hold. second the back tires only last for 10 to 15 thousand miles. The cadillac I owned prior to bying the Hyundai I got over 130 thousand miles on the rear tires, front wheel drive, and about 90 thousand on the front. They were the 90 plus thousand mile tire made by Mechalob (forgive spelling) . I would expect something similar with other like priced tires. The assist steering is great and I expect you have improved on it also. My sunroof won't close and when you hold the close button smoke come out of the switch area. Too much drag on the closing which over heats the switch.

So glad that the Genesis was on my list of vehicles to check out 5 years ago. Impressive stylish vehicle that catches the eye of a lot people. Comfortable, spacious ride from any seat in the car. More than ample trunk space. Great sound system and it's got some get up and go too. Love my Genesis-

This car is one of the most luxurious cars you can buy for the price. Also with 5.0 engine it runs great,with 420 hp it’s a very fun car to drive. Finally it has some of the nicest leather that you can get.

Improvement recommendations

My wife LOVES the look and feel of her 2015 Genesis. There is a very appealing design that looks classy and not overdone. I enjoy driving her car but I have a few wishes or recommendations that I’d like to have in her vehicle. 1. Front cameras for parking. With the LOW profile front end a camera should’ve been included to assist owners from front end damage, especially in parking areas with the cement blocks on the front of the parking space. 2. Phone chargers. USB or Cigarette lighter type power connectors. It’s 2015, all cars should have USB connectors by now. There should be a USB for each passenger. 3. A cell phone cubby on the dash. A place to set a cell phone in a position that is visibly accessible for the Driver especially for navigation purposes. It should be able to charge the phone when placed inside like a cordless charger. Phones used for navigation often drain the battery, this will be another selling point. 4. Center console cigarette or power connectors are DIFFICULT to get to if you’re a normal size human being. Angle the slot upward for ease of connection and either put a useable tray in or remove the that tray period and provide more space to love the control column forward and extend arm rest storage space. Placement of the USB charging ports forward on the dash is user friendly for Driver and a SAFER placement than having to reach backwards to connect or reconnect phone or charger raising the potential for accidents. Distracted driving consideration. 5. A discretely hidden PULL DOWN shade for the windshield when parking. The rear window has a sun protection screen that in electrically operated. There should be a way to install a forward shade to be manually pull down when vehicle is parked. 6. I would take a job helping designers or R&D departments for Hyundai or Genesis.
