Genesis 16 Sedan
The drive of the vehicle is great, it handles well, gas efficient for the size.BUT the cosmetics of this model were poorly constructed ex. the door handle I've noticed is peeling on the back, arm rest on driverside doesnt open,the back window seal was starting to loosen(repaired), the rearview camera stop working because the trunk coverpeice on the button has dry rotted,the sunroof is starting to move slowly(not frequently used so unsure why), and lastly I put gas in my car a week ago and the latch to the gas door broke(repaired) I've only owned this car a little over a year??...NOW my previous Genesis 2010 has had only 2 of these issues:door handle peeled (replaced it) ,and the sun roof(moving slowly )but these things started after YEARS of ownership.I still own my 2010 and seems to be better than my 16. The body& cabin size are both PERFECT.It has a presidential feel to it,while it has aged a bit it still drives like a champ.The 2016 model is beautiful both inside and out but the overall car is a bit bulky,the dash is so,so, the cabin while still large feels diffrent,somehow doesn't feel as plush as the previous model.
