Reliable vehicle

This is my 2nd Santa Fe. I bought a new Subaru for twice the price of the Hyundai last November [2022]. I didn't care for it at all. So I gave it to our son. When he came to visit us in June of this year we went car looking . Hyundai had a Santa Fe in red with a sun roof for 1/2 the price of a Subaru. With more safety cameras, too.

Slick but could been Superior

Vehicle is solid, safe, comfortable and attractive. The Calypso Red paint is a knockout! It handles well and I love the lane keep assist features. But it feels under powered in some situations. Hyundai made a poor choice to discontinue the 6 cylinder engine. Also miss the 3rd row seating. The styling is too much like others in the same category. I've seen projections of the 2024 and that is much more like it! Land Rover inspiration! Wish I'd waited.

Dealer needs to conduct a class on how to's . There seems to be know issues with user profiles. I have only had for 40 days so cant review everything yet. How to set a pause in navigation for rest area stops?

Too expensive for the brand

The Santa Fe is ok to drive. However if you not used to with drive assist feature may surprised you when driving please get familiar before signing lease or purchasing one overall suv very modern spacious

I would of have th ability to have blue link in the Hyundai limited. Or at least explained about it. The audio keeps cutting out. Even though car play. Sati all ate cut out often. Even with car play.

Good quality build

Santa Fe build quality seems improved in comparison with competitors in 2023 and their similar vehicles at same price.l range. I would definitely recommend to family and friends. Customer service was excellent. After agreeing to purchase terms, paperwork and getting us out the door after an exhausting day was the best part.

I like the car

The car has excellent legroom & storage space. The interior & exterior are topnotch. My only complaint is that there are just too many options available on the display making it very confusing to choose.

Gasoline vs plug in

I was pleased with the dealership, Mussa and Shay from Downey Hyundai helped a lot, I didn’t really car for the monthly payments. I had to to trade in a previous truck that I purchased from them that just was so much trouble being it was brand new. So my payments changed significantly. The truck is durable and comfortable but the price isn’t worth the purchase.

Great SUV

Initially I was impressed it's a great SUV just be careful with the smart features and get the HYBRID dont let them talk you out of it like my experience you'll see the savings unless you're driving locally the entire time.

Solid

It's a solid vehicle to drive. I haven't driven it in the snow yet, but winter is coming. It has great legroom. The horsepower coming out of a 4-cly turbo is impressive. The calligraphy has a great interior design. I like the suede headliner.

Offer your best first instead of pushing all the extras at a higher price point

I am very pleased with the vehicle over all. I wish it had a little more power and could connect my phone wireless to services like apple play and android connect. Overall I feel that the vehicle good and I feel safe while driving in it with my family.

Hyundai Santa Fe 2023 Review

Mechanically very well built (steering, 8 speed automatic, handeling, safety). Passenger seat in height adjustable, built in sun screens, excellent sound system. Cons: Seat material hot and sweaty. Lacks acceleration power.

Comfort car and lots of space

Nice comfort car with a lot of new function and space. But I got car shaking problem when accelerating at low speed. It is serious when driving uphill. I got appointment at dealership 2 days later. Hopefully, they fix it under power train warranty.

The overall experience has been good, so far. Oxendale Salesman and Finance manager were nothing but great. The vehicle is nice and roomy.

The vehicle has been great , thus far. It's quiet, roomy and great mpg. Love the added safety features. Just wish the roof rack, 3rd row seat, Full size spare and LED lighting every where came standard with the vehicle.

Great car - no Wireless Android Auot

Very nice, quiet ride. All electronics work well. However, sales brochures and media stated that vehicle had Wireless Android. It does not. I was told an update was coming that would enable this feature. I am still waiting.

Very well equiped compared to the competition.

I have the Calligraphy trim level, and I'm impressed with all tech in this SUV. After one year of driving, there are no issues to report. My only compliant is not having a storage console for my sunglasses.

It’s not excellent feedback

The vehicle is good but has some minor issues when bought like the seat belt warning which goes off and is scary. Also the backspace button sometimes does not work and I have to press it twice with some errors.

Less equipped than expected based on the year of manufacturing. Expected to have an independent android device that can mirroring the phone and work as independent android device with own network connection or shared network connection. All lights expected to be led. Expected more power and USB outlets with latest charging standards support. Based on the year of manufacturing expected to have remote start and heated seats.

2023 Santa Fe Limited Review

Traded in my 2017 SF Limited. The 2.5L turbo with 8-speed is a tremndous improvement over the V6. Improved gas mileage. Much better throttle response and braking. Seats are more comfortable and I like that the steering column is now manually adjustable. Two complaints: Button gear shifting is annoying. Must look and feel for the buttons, taking eyes off of surroundings...less safe. Parking brake holds car in Drive until seatbelt is latched which is also anooying. Moving the vehicle around to attach a trailer or something requires the belt. The audible alarm was good enough. Large holes in grille make the radiator vulnerable to road debris, but no punctures yet. Love the panoramic roof. Pleased with it thus far.
