Great SUV

The interior is very nice and the ride is smooth. Have owned for 1 yr 8 months & haven't had any issues. Love the look of the exterior with the exception of the back end... it could be a little more stylish.

I think the Dual-Clutch in the 2024 is the cause of my concerns.

My 2024 Santa Fe in certain situations shifts very rough or hesitates. Aside form that, my fuel economy is not even remotely close to the EPA ratings for this vehicle. On average I am receiving 13-16 mpg which is significantly less than the advertised 20/29. This is the first time in over 10+ vehicles that I've owned in the past 30 years that didn't atleast meet or exceed the fuel economy standards.

Great family car

Bought the Santa Fe to replace my aging Audi allroad. The thing I love most about the Santa Fe is the great vehicle packaging. There's tons of space in a footprint not much larger than my old allroad, plus a whole third row of seating that's passable for adult use! It's been a great car for camping and family trips, though it was very pricey to repair after a recent fender-bender with some interesting design-for-manufacturing choices greatly increasing the cost (nearly $15k, $2k of which was a headlight assembly with two small broken plastic tabs to hold on the bumper cover). I've been very happy with the purchase and anticipate enjoying the car for years to come.

Shifter Lever

The placement of the shifter lever on the steering column is very clumsy and hidden by the column. Should have kept it on the console.

Check for damage to the steering wheel or surrounding sensors, like a cracked lens from a stone, which can trigger the warning. My Santa Fe

We love the vehicle. Very roomy, all passengers are very comfortable and gas mileage is excellent for a vehicle this size with an average of about 25mpg.
