Expectations

The Sante Fe has met or exceeded my expectations from test drive to 25,000 mile ownership. I have driven across the entire United States and it was the most reliable and comfortable vehicle I have ever driven. I love its size and functionality. I would most likely buy it again.

Love the vehicle itself the gas mileage is way off

Love the vehicle overall, but the gas mileage is horrible and was told it was way better on the sticker. We’ve contacted the or several times about it. They keep giving us no answers once so ever we’d be lucky if we average 15 miles to the gallon other than that we love the vehicle but don’t know if I would’ve bought it if I knew the gas mileage was that bad

Great family car

I bought this car so I can have enough room, especially for family travel, three row seat, seats, and good legroom to travel with my mom my handicap brother while traveling with a wheelchair. I highly recommend the Hyundai Santa Fe to anyone I know

I call my Santa Fe “Sportin’ Life” because it looks so sporty

I love the styling of the 2024 Santa Fe. I got the terra-cotta orange color and I get so many compliments on it. I also got the second row bench seat. I’m so glad that Hyundai finally started to put in bench seats for these SUVs. It makes the car so much more useful I can fit in more passengers and haul more things. I love the media package with the hands-free phone calling in the hands-free texting and I love the way I can stream anything on my radio. It’s a great value. I love my car.

Better tires

Tommorrow replacing all 4 tires. 20,000 Miles replacement, means to me, very poor quality tire. Could be a safty problem.

A good vehicle with lots of technology, but not user-friendly.

The 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe is loaded with some great features, but the controls are not intuitive and are often confusing. With less than 25,000 miles, we've already experienced some quality problems, such as a "check transmission" light that has come on multiple times, but which could not be diagnosed by the dealer.

Driveline failures are a concern for long term reliability

After only a few days of ownership the rear differential failed and it took a month to get the vehicle back. At first we were hopeful it was a one off and sometimes things fail. For a while this seemed to be true. The vehicle was running well, getting good gas mileage, it was comfortable and we were enjoying the vehicle with some minor electrical nuisances. Unfortunately it would randomly go into limp mode and the transmission wouldn't shift. You could restart the car and it would be fine again. Eventually they did replace the transmission but now the vehicle is sluggish, often doesn't downshift and gets significantly worse mpg than before. We are also getting random push button start messages and shift to park messages even when in park. The latest issue is the over the air updates keep failing and it sends me several messages a day. Even if you follow their instructions it still fails.
