Road trip of 2600 miles

The ride was good. Acceleration was okay for a 4-cylander vehicle. I most recently drove a 6-cylander Sonata and it made passing on two-lane roads and climbing hills effortless. This 2023 Santa Fe frightens me a bit. Room is good. The new technology is stressful for a person who had driven a 2009 Sonata for 14 years. I turned most of the technology off. My Sonata was quieter and the ride was about the same. Gas mileage in the Santa Fe is significantly lower than my 2009 Sonata.

Overall favorable buying experience.

Improve on the door and fender gaps alignment. Paint is very good. Driving the vehicle is a pleasurable experience. Engine is quiet and responsive. The vehicle has a tight feeling to it. Interior materials are of good quality.

First Impressions

The Hyundai Santa Fe is stylish and comfortable and has performed as expected over the first 8k miles. Storage space is very good, but the lack of a spare tire is a concern. The sound system and integration with music apps has been excellent. One discovered drawback are the shadows cast by the headlights at night when driving on small tree lined country roads. These effects are not as apparent when operating the vehicle on open highways.

Nice SUV

Fun to drive. Many important safety features. Don’t like my dealership service dept but vehicle performs very well. Worth the money compared to other similar vehicles Wish more attention would be given to ambient lighting.

Great mid size suv

I originally wanted a 3rd row suv but this is a great suv for the price and size. If you want a roomy suv for a low price this is a great option. Also the 0 percent apr was a great influence for my decision.

Santa Fe review

Good car and made in the USA. The biggest problem is the headlights, due to them being LEDs, don't create any heat which allows snow and ice to build up during a snow/ice storm. At night this is especially problematic.

Great car...windows shield wipers needs to have a delay...and there should be a on/off switch that you don't have to push everytime you start motor..to turn off the automatic start and stop...and a bigger console department

This is my 3rd Santa Fe...I have liked all of them.

I have enjoyed driving all 3 of the Santa Fe's I have bought. The latest one is a cut above the other 2, because of the GPS Navigation feature using voice commands ‼️ I love the dealership I go to, because they always take care of me. The finance manager is easy to work with & my salesman is the best‼️

Handling and performance is well engineered.

Have enjoyed leaning to drive the new 2023 Santa Fe. Will be able to take safe advantage of the elaborate driving assist features some that are leading edge technology. Thought is that the price compliments the many features contained in this model Hyundai.

Pleasent to drive, fuel economy is good, enough cargo space, nice and up to date desing, smooth and silent ride, air conditioning is fine as well as the info atteinement .Sta Fe in the basic trim level needs to install the copilot seat higher.

Solid vehicle

Leased an SUV for vacation and had a Santa Fe. We were looking to replace an old SUV and found the Santa Fe to be comparable in size and comfort. Appreciated features like heated and air conditioned seats, heated steering wheel - "extras" that you may not use daily but are perfect when you do need them.
