Better than average but not great

I like the tech and the feel. It’s small and the truck lacks space when 3rd row is up. The “stick shift” is terrible. The swivel is horrific and inconvenient. No place to put sunglasses.

Biggest complaint is the hesitation of the acceleration at times. Feels like it is fuel starved at times.

Trouble engine and transmission response.

The 2.5 turbo engine is the worse engine I have ever owned. The slow response the dead spots when trying to take off. Are dangerously and need to be addressed by Hyundai.

Great for road trips

We love just about everything with the Santa Fe. Great gas mileage and comfortable. We travel a lot between Indiana and Colorado. Spend a lot of time in the winter months out west in Arizona and New Mexico. The only thing I would suggest is to add tactical buttons for heating and cooling. The touchscreen requires looking away from the road.

This really is a fun vehicle

This Santa Fe Calligraphy edition is loaded with so many features, we find ourselves using many of them. We took it on our first long distance drive and it was extremely comfortable. We have been very happy with the vehicle so far.
