Amazing car. Best decision

When we started looking for a vehicle, we were considering options for a fuel efficient vehicle but the hybrid was not really on our radar. But then we visited our local Hyundai dealership and saw the Sonata hybrid, we loved it from the first moment. It is a very well made vehicle, good technological features and the interconnectivity of the Blue Link system makes maintenance keeping up with the vehicle so much easier.

Poor front end design

The front of the vehicle is too low. Twice I have had a protective piece be torn off, simply by pulling up to a tire stop barrier in a parking space. There was no warning and I could clearly see that I was not going over the curb ahead. These barriers are everywhere in parking lots. The car should have enough clearance to allow the car to pull in up to the barrier so the back end of the car is not sticking out into the driving area.

Sonata Hybrid

Not a bad vehicle, lots of interior room, trunk too small. Don’t care for a few of the safety features ( cruise, lane departure.) Backup camera has been flukey lately, not picking up signal; sometimes I get a dashboard warning saying camera blocked?

a lot better every day i drive it

after trading a suv for a sedan i started having second thoughts about buying . the longer i own and drive the sonata the more and more i like it. took a while to get used all the features but now i sure do miss them if i have to drive a different vehicle. i feel safe and in control at all times. the fuel saving is just another bonus!
