favorite car ever
I absolutely love this beautiful vehicle. Not only does it fit my lifestyle, but the add-ons and luxury items are beyond compared. The gas mileage is excellent and very affordable for a senior citizen. That is all the good part, so now for the bad part. I have been a Hyundai Customer for years and I love the products and the service and the dealerships however, in 2024 I lost my husband. At the time I was driving a Santa Cruz and I loved it. Because I was forced to a sudden financial crisis, my planner advised me to get into to EV to save gas money and to get a rebate that was being offered. I went into Patterson Hyundai and Tyler, TEXAS and visited with a very nice gentleman named John. He demonstrated several vehicles to me. I loved love love the Palisade, but it was too big for me. The ionic six was sitting on the floor, Silver trimmed in Black. Oh my goodness it was beautiful and I fell in love with it. I signed papers on the lease that day not knowing the nightmare is connected with EV production and release in my area. Over the next few months, I ended up being towed in four times and as a 70 year-old woman, the last thing I want to do is be stranded on a highway after dark, not knowing what to do because I have no charging station close by. The last time I was towed, they brought my car into the dealership and I walked in in tears and asked them to please release me from this lease and get me into something that I could drive safely. They matched me with the baby. It called the Sonata hybrid and I again fell in love. But because the early release out of my lease contract created an issue, I had to put down $10,000 “I did not have that“ in order to get a sale in a car I could own and not lease. They stuck me with a 15.4 interest rate and a monthly note of $909. I was caught, lost, on my own, a woman dealing with five different men in a dealership, and I suddenly felt overwhelmed, but had to make a decision. I have tried numerous times with Hyundai finance company and other banking institutions to refinance this disastrous contract, but to no avail. Today I am giving over my Hyundai Sonata, hybrid to a automobile broker who is providing me with a used affordable vehicle, a Lexus. This vehicle is much older than what I want to be driving, but I can no longer afford to pay for the Sonata and you are offering me no options. Other than that, I love Hyundai.
