Build Quality

Body and Hardware are made with cheap plastic materials which fall apart on slight impact and the repair cost is very high. The car does not feel solidly built unlike other competitors. Brakes, fuel injectors, battery, tires needed to be replaced prematurely. Expected a better fuel economy for a car this size.

Things always seem to break

Things that are not supposed to break seem to break on this vehicle. Had the hood cable snap, the release to access the gas cap break, required a timing chain overall, the trunk not staying open, the tire sensors going out, on my third factory audio system as the first had the LED display disappear, the second had a heating issue where it would stop working if it was an 80° day and now the controls not working until you cool the dash w AC. Also the paint peeling issue.

My 1st Toyota

My Toyota Corolla is : (a) kind of boring-looking, (b) has very few features & (c) is a little too big for me. I miss not having intermittent wipers, automatic door lock/unlock feature, being able to lower & raise driver's seat and being able to open passenger-side door with key. On the other hand, when I became a retiree, I wanted a reliable car and my 2010 Toyota Corolla does seem to be just that. p.s. My favourite car that I've owned was a 1993 turquoise Honda Civic EX. I loved that car...

Toyota is ...easy to handle,great to park in the city...energy efficient.... Unfortunately you see it everywhere and in black it is hard to find in the lot. I had a good warranty when I purchased it ...so the first year all was covered 2010 bought in 2014 and it needed extensive work

Corolla not made to last

Will never buy another. Equipment is low standard. Only lasts a couple of years.Vehicle is 2010 and exterior paint on roof and trunk top has already chipped. Speakers had to be replaced last year and radio freezes when temperatures are high. Struts went bad. I don't drive much, ( less than 10k a year) so this is unusual. Last car was a 2004 Camry and never had any problems. Will never purchase a Corolla again. Not made to last.

Reliable

Nothing fancy but gets the job done. Satisfied with it for being a 10 year old car. Seems that over 200k mi., the balance becomes more unaligned the faster I drive(interstates and highways) but it's nothing too dangerous.

Good reliable car

A little sensitive and slow going up hills but overall I have dodged a bullet here and there because of its design and durability. I try to drive reasonably and safely and treat it best as I can.

Great Economical Transportation

Comfortable and roomy

Love the comfort and space that it provides. It's got plenty of room in the back seats for passengers and large trunk space. Just wish it were a little faster!

Love my Snowball

I got this car after my last car was driven to it's last days. This car has very little maintenance that I have to do compared to other cars that I have owned. Still drives the same way it did when I bought it 5 years ago.

Car makes me happy

Corolla is satisfying to look at. 1.8 L engine yields great acceleration yet respectable fuel efficiency. Handling is first rate and braking is very effective. Climate control is ideal and radio/sound system delivers.

I love it but.i don't like a few things

Toyota did Not seal inside of car bc insulation came thru which is hazardous! 2nd is when u put on windshield wiper just to CLEAN wipers Automatically come on. Toyota needs to stop this!! Toyota should replace my cars pain job GRATIS (FREE OF CHARGE) AS WELL AS pay to seal up insulation that came out in my cars cabin interior! Ugh

Reliable.

The workaday styling hides an engine that's a little screamer: -- double overhead cam, extra valves. Serviceability, as with all modern vehicles, is terrible. Dashboard and cockpit controls are well thought-out. Engine oil is thin and light, so if you want this car to last, let it warm up before you drive it down the road.

Great for a 2nd vehicle.

Too small, but reliable. Gas mileage is wonderful. We only have to fill up every couple of weeks and then that is after using 1/4 of a tank of gas. I usually drive my S-10, but I have had to rely on my Toyota. I had to get used to driving a smaller vehicle.

Extremely reliable low consumption

Have this car for 10 years 112 miles brought brand new extremely reliable cheap on gas especially on the highway audio system is terrible and cornering.The highest mileage i get highway only is 379 miles with this small tank.Starter is noisy when its cold but nothing to worry about.Overall no problems at all and always start
