89,000 miles and 13 years old -- dead

I really thought my 2005 Prius battery should last more than 89,000 miles and 13 years. Oh, well. Now my car is headed for the landfill, and I have to buy another car under pressure since mine doesn't start.

Love my Prius!

I bought my Prius over 12 years ago and have put on over 180,000 miles on it. I've only had to do routine maintenance on it and It just keeps on going. I was just thinking what kind of Prius I would buy when this one is ready to retire in 10 years. ;)

vehicle to yesterday, today, and tomorrow

Fell in love with this car in 2005. The sleek lines and clean dashboard made me feel like I was entering a space capsule. It was my first hybrid and it hasn't disappointed. It's very efficient, i.e. not a gas guzzler. Quiet inside and out. Spacious hatchback and easy to fold down rear seat. Speaking of which 3 can sit comfortably.

This is a great car

Toyota has a reputation for building good cars, and it deserves the reputation. My Prius has been reliable and low maintenance over the life of the car. I am the original owner, and I've never had an American car that was built this well or lasted this long.

Best car ever

I love this car. It’s the most reliable car I’ve ever had. I’ve taken the kids to school in car seats and I’ve hauled 1/4 cord of wood in it. I’ve Mounted full suspension mountain bikes on the back on a bike rack and it still gets me to work and back for about 25 bucks a week. It just won’t stop.

Love my Prius!

Best car I've ever had! I've hauled a water heater, screen door and many other things! I get great gas mileage. One of the first things i noticed though was how comfortable it is. Plenty of leg room, even in the back seat! The front seats even have back support!

LOVE MY PRIUS BUT........

I'VE HAD NOTHING BUT TOYOTA AUTOS SINCE 1979 FIRST WAS A BLACK CELICA , IT LASTED THROUGH 2 TEEN AGERS WAS STILL WHEN SOLD OVER TEN YEARS. I'VE HAD PICK-UPS, TUNDRAS , 4-RUNNER, SUPURA, NOTHING BUT TOYOTA SINCE THE FIRST ONE (2005) ALWAYS HAVE TAKEN IT TO VANCOUVER TOYOTA....NO COMPLAINTS, OBVIOUSLY OR I WOULD HAVE WENT ELSEWHERE. I LOVE MY PRIUS, EXCEPT FOR IT BEING A HYBRID, I DO NOT DRIVE IT ENOUGH (SINCE RETIRED) TO KEEP IT CHARGED... .

12 year old Prius

Love this car - have almost 300,000 miles - fantastic performance - only problem was battery went out about 250,000 miles. Got a rebuilt battery at inexpensive price and I continue to drive in safety and ease !

My Prius

My 05 Prius has gone over 106,000 miles and still runs fine. Connie and Dick's has helped keep it running for a long time now. In the next year or two I'll trade it in and get a new Prius. Dave Weslh

I have almost 260,000 miles now and just had the rear brakes done.

My car has been great except for the oil leak As my car is too old it is not included in any class action suits. It was the same with the headlights a few years ago.

Prius is great

Never thought we would own a Prius, but wow what a great car with amazing gas mileage. It is bigger inside than what I thought it would be. Plenty of leg room. And fun to drive!!
