Standing by their products
I brought my 15 month old Tucson in for its second oil change, first alignment, and to question the efficacy of Hyundai wiper blades. When I had my first service, at 7500 miles, my barely broken in vehicle already needed new wiper blades; the original ones squeaked and streaked. The service tech could offer no reasonable explanation other than I purchased my vehicle in mid-July, in Georgia (hot, hot, hot!) and there was no telling how long the Tucson had sat in the sun, perhaps warping the blades. So, I replaced them with another set of Hyundai wiper blades, at only 7,500 miles.

Fast forward to this past Saturday. I hadn't even had the new blades a week when they, too, started streaking - driver's side, right in the middle/line-of-sight. Before long, they were squeaking with every use, too. I explained this to the intake manager, asking him to please check them out for some damage I couldn't see. To my surprise and delight, when my Tucson was ready to go, the intake manager told me that he put on a new set of wiper blades, on Hyundai under their product warranty, since they failed so soon after they were expertly installed. I was very, very satisfied with not only my vehicle's service, but the excellent customer support.

Recent Service Visit
Made an appointment online for a routine oil change - very easy process. Arrived for my appointment and was quickly greeted. Met with service advisor and asked him to check for anything else that I might have due, including to inspect my brakes since my car has 65K miles. I was only due for transmission service so I decided to go ahead an get that done also. During the service, he brought my air filter back and it was relatively dirty but said I probably good go one more oil change on it, however I decided to get that replaced too. He said my brakes looked great and were fine. As a female, I truly appreciate the fact that they don't try to up-sell me on services that I really don't need. They are honest and I feel like I can trust them, which is rare at in service departments at automobile dealerships.

It's very, very hard to reach a service adviser by phone. They seem extremely short staffed. No one updated me on the repair diagnosis or asked me authorization to begin the repair. My voicemail requesting an update was never returned (waited 3 hours to call for an update, left a message, waited 4 hours before going back and asking in person for an update).

Do not take your car here
On July 23rd I brought my vehicle in for a simple oil change and a tire rotation as well as check to see why I had a tire leaking air. While I was waiting they told me that my car needed an alignment, so I told them to do it. When I got the vehicle back I walked out and immediately noticed that my tires had not been rotated, then I got in and my low tire light was still on. Autonation did not rotate my tires nor did they check to see why my tire was low. So I walked back in after waiting for 3 hrs just to wait longer while they checked on these two things. I was then told that they couldn't find anything in my tire so they topped it off with air, and the reason they didn't rotate my tires is because the tread was too low. Neither of these two things were explained until after I noticed that they had not done the service. Later that day my car made a noise and stopped running which left me stranded. Autonation towed the car back to the dealership and told me it needed a new motor. They didn't hassle me about a new motor because they knew they had performed a improper oil change. They had told me that due to my inconvenience they would have the car cleaned and detailed. Today, two months later, I finally get my car back only to find that my front bumper has been reinstalled incorrectly. Apparently the front bumper comes off during an engine swap. The fog light valence is barely hanging on to the bumper cover, they did not detail the car like they promised but rather they left the interior dirtier than when I dropped it off, including grease on the arm rest and the plastic floor mats wadded up and thrown in the back seat. I had them correct the bumper, which they did a terrible job of (still looks like my fog light valence could fall off) however I didn't have time to wait on it to be cleaned. I drove off in the car excited to finally be done with Autonation Hyundai Mall of Georgia, only to realize that the car either didn't get an alignment on July 23rd or they knocked it out of alignment during the engine install. I called 3 hours ago to see when they can take care of the alignment and have still yet to hear back from them. At this point I really want these things taken care of but am scared to take my vehicle back to Autonation. I may end up paying to have these issues fixed just so I don't have to deal with them anymore.

Experience at the Service Facility was excellent.
Only issue is Autonation's Web-based appointment system which apparently does not interface with the Service system....the service writer had to manually input information I had already provided when I made the service appointment.....unnecessary aggravation in modern universe.
