best automobile I've ever owned

233,000 km. Most of the repairs I've had done is regular wear and tear. Only problem is the body was subject to some rust even though I had bought the protection package. I've owned mainly Ford products for the past 43 years and their cars have always been good to me.

Bought from CarMax and love the room it has inside. Handles great. Had a RAV4 so wanted another car that was a little bigger but sat up higher.

Catalytic converter to much for the price

I didn't like that nobody had that part. And they order that part and it take 4 days i went to 3 places and the same story. It will take 4days

2008 Ford Escape

The vehicle gets decent gas mileage, has room to carry items and I like the somewhat boxy shape of it. Haven't any major problems with and I have 154,000 miles on it

It has been a great car.

I have had my FEH for almost ten years. It has so far been completely reliable. I have taken good care of it, and it has taken good care of me. I've never had a problem, I get the rated gas mileage. It has been just the car I needed for the purposes I bought it for. I'd buy another if Ford still made them, especially if they made a plug-in hybrid.

My New-2-Me Escape Hybrid

I was so happy to find a hybrid that fit my tall husband! I'm already loving all the roomy cargo space. I also appreciate the secure feeling I have driving this SUV with great visibility. My road trip today in very wet conditions was a snap, thanks to AWD.

2008 escape

Overall satisfied, but have needed brakes repaired more often than usual. Two things I absolutely dislike is that the driver's door does not stay open when trying to exit the vehicle and the design cUses me to bump my shin on entering the vehicle due to having the seat forwArd because I am short.

Love my Escape

I had a Ford Explorer XLT for 10 years and traded it in for my Escape in 2009. Both my vehicles were never in the shop for anything other than routine maintenance. I would buy another one in a minute!

Ok Vehicle

Good visibility and drives nice on the road. I like the styling of the 2008-2012 models as well. We've had our share of problems however. Hybrid electronics coolant pump replacement, hybrid battery cooling fan replacement, three major leaks in the ptu unit (two fixed by dealer), a couple annoying rear door rattles, issue with the power moonroof falling out of adjustment and failing to close properly, electric power steering position sensor replacement, etc. The vehicle just turned over 70,000 in Oct of 2015.
